Here is my 3rd & final video of my day at The Freddie Gee Drum Academy. This is the second half of my evening performance where I shifted the musical balance quite dramatically, switching from death metal & hardcore drumming (which is in pt 2) to big band jazz & dub reggae which this footage covers. The emphasis of all this was to demonstrate how investigating different styles of musical playing can have a profound influence on your own voice on the instrument. I hope you enjoy it & who knows, maybe it will inspire you to check out some musical styles you've never looked into as a player yourself before.
