I laughed at the part about the giant tarantula having white fangs because when a tarantulas fangs are white they are actually still soft because it just molted lol

I am also a father who loves a good ol scary story. These stories terrify me though. My greatest fear is not being there when my son needs me. I am disgusted and disturbed at the father in this story. How could any father abandon his son when he's crying for help? I couldn't abandon any child let alone my own son. I don't like spiders or monsters. But I'm not letting anyone hurt my kin. That's unacceptable!

I believe this story would have ended very differently, although with the same outcome. The father would have shot the son and the spiders would have killed him with the entire family “home” It was to happen either way, it would have been kinder to stop the boy’s suffering than to flee. The boy died several deaths realizing his father did not love him as much as his fears.

Yeah I'm no parent but a bullet won't do shit against a giant spider. And if their willing to take a kid they will kill the thing trying to take Thier food. He might as well have shot himself at the door. Surprised they bothered to talk at all why didn't the spiders just pounce on the father at the doorstep? He's bigger more food than the kid then you can consume both🤷 These spiders are weird.

The monsters appeared as spiders because that's what he was afraid of. The father was tested. There are forces out there that test people. In reality I had a test myself I was in an abusive relationship because of it the government deemed it an dangerous situation so they took my daughter when she was born. My worst fear is humans been hurt by people several times. I had to go to court and I had to go to meetings and classes (and of course leave him but that's a different topic) all of which made me be with people. I was terrified and there was times I just wanted to k..l myself but I kept fighting I decided the moment they took her that I would get her back no matter what and I got her back. And we went to live with my grandma. But heck it was scary and painful for me.

Are you implying these monsters change shape just to kidnap kids for an arbitrary test? Because that's fucked up. Don't just take kids for any reason. I won't risk my safety for anything that's just stupid. I value my life.

  • @witchycat5432

@@Gfish17 yes it is fd up and no kids shouldn't be taken and yes there's a lot of things out there some bless someone if they pass or curse them if they fail some use it as ways to possess people or a number of different things. Not just taking children but lots of not nice things. There are things that literally eat sin and fear and they use the tests to cause people to get people to fear and sin. They let people go if the person passes because they don't provide food but if they fail then they feed off of that

Great narration as always! But this story was just a mess. I get what the author was trying to do with their story, but no real parent would act like anything close to this!
