This helps a sucky work day

As usual, your narration was great! The story, well I didn't care for it. It had to many holes and unrealistic things happen. For example, in a burning cabin, where the fire started in the bathroom, you'd have a little more time to grab supplies before some main beam came down. There were many things like this. If you're wrapped up with a girl, asleep in a fricking tree, you would notice when she left. When you get out of a hot spring, you're wet. Your not going to last long on a subsequent hike to a secondary cabin. Wth ever happened to that secondary cabin anyway. Just to many holes for the story to be enjoyable. But, like I said, your narration was great. It was so good that you made the story sound better than it was. Thanks for the link to the text!

You're not wrong. I suppose, if the fire started on the roof with accelerant, it could have spread quickly before they really noticed. And, being strung out and exhausted from the events of the story and hiking in the cold, you could sleep like the dead and not notice someone leaving, even in a tree. But that's about the end of my ability to suspend disbelief. The hot springs thing was just ridiculous. You're killing yourself with that in no uncertain terms. Especially getting in fully clothed. You might be alright for the duration that you're in, but you're going to freeze to death in short order without dry clothes to change into when you get out. The rest of the story was curious. I don't fully get it.

Does anyone else get 'The Long Dark' vibes from this?? 😃

I feel like the ending is more than just fiction. The talk of those who only keep the status quotient. When the ratio shouldn't be there at all. That's okay. The universe has ways of evening itself out. 😊💚✨

If it's cold enough for 3 ft of snow the ground would be frozen and digging would be near impossible

getting wet in the cold wilderness, no matter how warm the water is at first, is a very BAD idea.
