I remember when the Internet was angry Zendaya was cast as MJ and now nearly everyone says MCU MJ > Raimi MJ. Add that to the list of reasons why you don't overreact to a CBM casting before seeing how things play out in the movies.

exactly. Zendaya brings so much realness to the role, and her MJ gets to be way more involved in the plot than just damsel in distress that the raimi mj was. I always was annoyed by mary jane in those films

Hell pretty sure they kept the fact that she was MJ secret till the end of Homecoming for that reason. Just keep deflecting and saying “no she’s not Mary Jane her name is Michelle” don’t have her be romantic with him in Homecoming to help keep them angry people calm then have her performance endear people and break out the “my friends call me MJ” at the end to let people go “alright y’know what I’ll allow it I kinda like her”

Either Vemon or Hobgoblin. One of the other. He going date Betty again. Lose her and when he finds out Peter is Spider-Man who didn't tell him he was Spider-Man. Ned believes if Peter had stay in his life. He could warn him about Betty and save her in time. So he blames Peter for her death and plans his revenge.
