The portrayal of the woman who immediately believed what was on TV, ignored everything Spiderman had actually done, and then got aggressive and played the victim ""he hit me" is the most realistic person in the movie.

The Daredevil reveal was just as crazy of a moment as the Tobey + Andrew Reveal, simply because barely ANYONE saw it coming. Everyone was so hyper focused on whether or not the other spideys were gonna show up, that when MATT MURDOCK showed up, people flipped. That sudden frame cut of the walking stick a few people (myself included) gasped. And when it cut to Matt's face, Half the theater screamed. It's a shame the netflix marvel series arent as popular as the MCU, because they were SO great in a more gritty grounded way.

@@syndicaterx One of my favorite moments in Comics between these two is when DD was injured and Peter put on the DD uniform. He traumatized Bullseye to the point the guy turned himself in and stayed there for years because all of his tricks that work against Matt did nothing to Peter. Similarly, Matt put on a Spider-Man costume and patrolled some when Peter was sick once as well. Which was also amusing as he got to see just how much NYC embraces Spidey and just how much the kids look up to him. DD uses fear tactics in huge amounts, he doesn't experience that kind of reaction often and it touched him.

It was really interesting to watch. Everything we as the audience knows about Spiderman is very different from what the public in the MCU knows. There were no news recorders on Titan or during Endgame. So everyone has the general idea that "Spiderman helped take down Thanos" but that's really it. Expecially when this perceived super cool superhero "Mysterio" protects multiple parts of the world only to say that, "Spiderman attacked, betrayed, took over Stark's technology and killed me" it's almost expected for people to believe mysterio. I imagine that the in universe public and internet were very conflicted as well.

Because traditional concepts of masculinity involved being extremely cold and aloof, never showing emotion and repressing personal feeling's in the aim of being "strong" (which ironically makes you incredibly fragile and usually snap at some point), they also involve not really listening to anyone elses feelings in turn. Being polite or being a gentleman is absolutely not equivalent to traditional masculine ideals, if anything it opposes some of them depending on the culture they come from. That isn't what any woman wants now, they want someone who is polite a respectful, yes, but hardly the traditional masculine ideal. In fact the vast majority of women I've known, including those I've been in relationships with myself, have much preferred guys who can open up and talk about problems and be vulnerable at some points. Being strong is good, but insecurity about emotion or other people's perceptions isn't strength. A traditional woman was supposed to shut up, look pretty, and take care of the kid's. Same if anyone from the university or any of the thousands of employee's at Stark Industries remembered the tech guy who was at one point or another, leader of an entire research division in charge of hundreds of employees.
The whole spider menace thing is even funnier with that jolly smiling picture of a sympathetic good looking kid on the screen 😂

How Aunt May and MJ say "Don't say anything without a lawyer" is kinda funny. Peter, you found the right woman. She and your aunt seem to think the same thing.

Nick Fury left Planet Earth and travel in space for only 1 year I’m glad Daredevil clear Peter’s name and told everyone he was framed
7:02 best part of the clip 🕶️
4:49 those agents of damage control takes it really easy when you think about that they look at Peter as criminal, murdere and that he could take them all out in seconds without breaking a sweat.
the DUDES at 0:57 is the most bro reaction to something like this happening
Best part is when Happy opens the door to find MJ with Peter and he’s only in his boxers.
Spider-Man did so much for New York alone and saved numerous lives just in the city, along with the battle with Thanos. Spider-Man is proven to be an excellent superhero who’s done so much for the world, and then a single rumor about a murder causes everyone to act like he’s a villain. Mysterio wasn’t around for long, sure he saved some people here and there, but nothing compared to spider man. A single frantic video broadcast everywhere exposing his identity (which is kind of hero rule number one, don’t expose who you are unless it’s certain people like Tony or others) was really scummy, and his murder didn’t have that much context behind it. All this being said, society immediately ignored all of the evidence of Spider-Man’s innocence and spent 4 whole seconds to forget his multiple heroic deeds and countless lives saved and paint him to be a villain over the questionable death of a single person.

Imagine delmar watching the news in absolute shock that every time this man joked about Peter's aunt, he was talking to Spiderman
1:48 NPC in the background sees spider man climb out of a hole, casually resumes shopping
Rip to the guy who tried to swing with Spider-Man in the beginning he literally jumped from the car its 0:32
people dont realize as soon as Happy walks into the house, it's one continuous handheld shot to create tension between all the main characters for the rest of the movie

Tom Holland's best moments are always when Peter is shocked or scandalized.
Anyone notice that 7:57 and 4:21 are the same dialogue from the same guy
This really shows that Peter is not Tony. Remember the first Iron Man movie. Tony does not give a shit if people find out or even if someone would say shit about him.

What i also find hilarious is Peter's panicked "oh, oh no, oh, oh no" "i dont know what to do" and MJ's "Peter, Peter, PETER" also could be misunderstood as sex sounds, and the awkard confusion of inexperience in sex, especially when they walk in to see Peter half naked and MJ caressing his face probably from making out during the build up to sex (or you know... comforting him whilst he's having a panic attack).
Love this opening scene! 😍🤩🥰
