A bit, yeah. But despite MJ having crushed on Peter since Homecoming, she still went onto being quite rude and impolite directly of Peter and Ned. Especially when she mockingly shows him a drawing of him in her sketch book while sulking in detention and even flipping her middle finger at him when he turned up at the homecoming. But I`m glad she changed her ways in Far From Home for the better. "I`m sorry, ok! I`m just obsessed with telling the truth, even though it hurts people`s feelings!"

Alan B Yeah, which I’m often conflicted on whether or not that aids it. For the story Bendis told, it was amazing, but a part of what I loved about Ditko Spidey especially was the fact that Peter was forced to grow up early, which added so much nuance and conflict to his psyche. I’m a much larger proponent of Peter being mature for his age, or at least much more than compared to his classmates. It adds some dimension to his character and sets him apart from other teenage heroes at the time.

This is literally Tom Holland being his awkward self.

I do like the portrayal of their different forms of social awkwardness. Peter is introverted, being shy and timid, while MJ is extroverted, always upfront and brash. However, once MJ actually starts getting attention from Peter, her extroversion starts crumbling.

fr people are blinded by nostalgia when they say that MJ was better. she was so annoying in the raimi films as the "girlfriend" trope and her constant wishy washiness. Zendaya's Michelle is way stronger of a character and she is super resourceful and involved in the plot, especially in no way home

Just the little amount of screen time that she got for homecoming made me like her and far from home even better

GadgetActivated GA it wasn’t anything big. Happy was able to get a press conference so that Peter could tell his side of the story Peter was pretty nervous and didn’t know what to say so MJ helped him write a little “speech” to prepare him for it. It was convincing enough that It worked
