To be fair, Peter is still teenager. He'll be heartbroken for a month or two tops. It's not like him and Liz dated per say. So it's understandable to move on within a couple of weeks even, let alone two years.

I didn’t like FFH very much. Mainly due to the character treatment. Aunt may acting like nothing happened when her nephew was fucking dead for 5 years. The writing was just not great. Peter’s growth wasn’t that great either.

I'm gotta respect Liz, she has every right to be mad and chew Peter out for leaving her like that. And with her dad in jail, she would be very emotional. Instead, she handles their goodbye maturely and honestly. Anyone else would have acted otherwise.

@@SpFlash1523 It was a pretty apparent theme throughout all 3 movies to be honest. First movie he tried to be an Avenger and a high school student at the same time. Second movie he was an Avenger and a high school student at the same time. 3rd movie he was finally confronted with this 2 timeline life and had to resolve it by choosing 1 path

liz is so good at playing a high schooler considering she was in her late 20s in this movie.

Homecoming gets a lot of undeserved hate. And this moment right here proves it so well, because it shows how Peter always keeps up in the responsibility path by letting go what he loves the most. That's something Spider-Man would do, no matter what storyline.

Don't know if anyone caught it, but during the Doctor Strange vs Spider-Man fight in "No Way Home", there was a magazine cover of Liz, calling Peter a liar.

I like how this is exactly what happens in the comics where Peter asked out Liz to go to a prom, but then later Peter had to fight Sandman and couldnt make it to the prom, and later Liz ends up mad at him

One thing I didnt like about how mj and peter suddenly became a thing at the start of far from home. Yes I know that shes not mj as it just so happens her name is michelle jones (MJ) so it would seem appropriate she and peter are a couple but the thing is there werent really much chemistry between them in homecoming aside from a few conversations. I guess the bridge scene in FFM explains but still there was no other reason aside from plot convenience.
