It probably be wisest from a story perspective to kill of mj as we've been exposed to her for 60 years now, and would provide more time for us to connect with Peters kids and have him struggle to balance spidermaning and parenting. Plus if mj was kept alive she would just be turned into a plot convenient mom and let Pete be out all day kicking ass

This will be a real breath of fresh air. And the fact the same people that worked on Spectacular Spider-man are working on the Spectacular Spider-Men gives me great hope.

Not to mention we are also getting a new mini called Spider-Man Shadow of the goblin written by JM De Matteis writer of comics like Kraven’s last hunt and the child within

Finally, some good Spider-Man comics.

This older version of Peter could have still gotten the "great power" speech from Uncle Ben as it was directed towards Peter using his intelligence for good (it just indirectly guided him in using his powers for good).

I’m collecting the old web of Spider-Man comics and I’m glad I can get new ones again

I'm soooo excited for the ultimate run, just recently I bought the original Ultimate spider man run, and it surely didn't disappoint

This year is the year for spider-man comics!

Man I'm hyped now for that Spectacular Spider-Men run even more now that I know people who worked on Spectacular are working on it! It should be Spectacular then!

Finally a good Spider-Man comic coming I really hope if it succeeds the old writers come back

It's nice to be hopeful for the future of the character in the comics again as they go back to having relatable stories about the character growing up and tackling being a hero and a father. Can't wait for the Spectacular Spiderman run since Greg Wiseman is involved so that's going to be a BANGER and sort of a new but also a surrogate continuation of the the show.

My favorite Spider-man comic of recent times has been Uncanny Spider-man. Which is where Nightcrawler is Spider-man. It's pretty cool.

I think the DC writers might've mixed up their papers with the Spidey Writers. Peter's life is going awesome, hes got a nice family. Meanwhile, Beast Boy is deceased

im so happy i rarely read that comic run and instead kept reading the deapool/spidermans series probably the happiest ive seen spiderman in the comics

Put both of them on my pull list at my local comic shop the moment I learned about them. I read ANY Spider-Man comic lately. Uncanny, superior, scarlet, you name it. But I just CANT read the mainline Spider-Man any more

Ha, finally I'm getting some very good "spiderman life story" vibes with Peter having a family and being spiderman at the same time and I'm all for it

However, these are separate Spider-Man stories. The only Spider-Man comics from 2023 that got a lot of hate were just Zeb Wells’ run on the Amazing Spider-Man series. Other than that storyline, the Spider-Man comics were already getting good or atleast decent, that is if they were standalone mini series stories, or just any Spider-Man spin off comic that’s not ASM.

So we get Spider-Dad and the amazing Spider-Bros. I’m down
