I'm fully prepared to wait ten years for Beyond the Spider-Verse if it means the animators don't burn themselves out to ashes and we get the best possible results from them

I like how Peter B and Jess constantly bicker about being a “bad mentor” since Peter has a baby and Jess is expecting, it’s like two parents trying to prove which is better.

1 note is that when Miles meets Glover's Prowler they both just say "Hey", same thing Aaron tells Miles in first movie.

Maybe this was obvious to other but something I caught while watching this is when Hobie is asked by Miles "Why are you here?" Hobie responds "I'm just looking out for my drummer" he's talking about Gwen

I just want to mention how good the soundtrack is. It gave me goosebumps every time I watched the movie. A huge thanks to Daniel Pemberton for giving me another reason to call this one of the best superhero movies ever made.

I gotta give credit where is absolutely due. The animators on these movies are fucking class. They should be paid so fucking much bringing an amazing style of animating. The detail and action scenes are just fantastic I can’t commend them enough

While miles is sitting down to talk with his counselor, he knocks down the balancing toy in the desk because he is still stronger than normal which could symbolize how he lost balance of his life a bit when he got his powers and is still working on controlling them

I think Spot taking the gum from the Venom universe had more meaning then showing the gum is named after Venom...in Endgame Hawkeye had to do a test run to make sure they can bring things out of other universes, that's why he took the baseball glove... and the Spot just showed that it is possible in the whole entire multiverse to take things or people from one universe to another.

Really hope we don’t have to wait too long for the third and last in the trilogy! My favorite multiverse movie next to Everything Everywhere All at Once

nobodys pointed out the shading differences between earth 42 and earth 1610. eartth 42 uses really agressive line shading while 1610 uses comic dots

This movie is easily my favorite of the year. Oscar Isaac played Miguel O’ Hara beautifully. Especially that scene where miles gives him an empanada. Chefs kiss 🙌🙌🥴 🌮

Wow, the whole thing was beautiful, but thanks especially for the Agents of SHIELD easter egg, it warmed my heart.

I hope that the second part shows the same scene where Miles became the Prowler. Aaron takes Miles down to that abandoned subway. They do the same art on the wall. But instead of the spider biting him, uncle Aaron says that he's gonna teach Miles how to protect himself and become the next Prowler. And that's the switch.

If you notice when Miguel and Miles are fighting on the train miles is sucking the energy from his suit the same way he did when Miguel tried to trap him in the spider society, Miguel's suit is losing power and his skin becomes visible and then when Miles zaps him thereby pushing him Miguel is actually kinda naked and when he's falling through the hundreds of spider people he becomes less naked until when he stops and he is fully clothed.

This movie is mind-blowing, and your videos are always next-level, but I have one minor correction: the blue lines you referenced with Miguel's design are not technically "erased" in the art process (at least, they don't need to be). Non-photo blue pencils are used specifically because the color does not reproduce when the art is photocopied. Most original comic art that uses non-photo blue pencil still has the blue lines visible under the inks. Just thought you'd want to know. Keep up the great work!

Whats crazy is that hobie brown in the 616 universe is the prowler, and the fact that spider punk caught the live action aaron davis prowler is a nice nod to his origins as a character

ALSO, on the radio JJ in the end says "if some vigilanty would take on sinister six cartel, he would recieve all support of the Daily Bugle", which flips down the usual order of things, and suggest once again, that prowler(s?) in this universe is good guys

But what about us that are totally oblivious to what the D-ring means?

I dont know if it was noted yet… but the blue sketch lines are called “non photo blue”. It is a very specific old school pencil that designers/architects/artists use for that initial sketch layer, that didn’t need erasing, so when artwork was photocopied, the blue lines where not visible… non… photo… blue XD

I always enjoyed them smacking the water tower as they swing by, I took it as a reference to that unexplained need to smack a doorframe when you walk through it especially back in the school days

Miles is constantly told you can't do both or "you can't have your cake and eat it too" his response was "unless you bake two cakes" so you can't save your dad and the universe unless you bake two cakes or have two Miles lol sounds funny just thought it was interesting

I recently rewatched What If..?, and noticed some parallels between the “Absolute Points” and “Canon Events”. How do they relate to each other? Are Canon Events just Absolute points that everyone across the Multiverse shares? Because the Absolute Point in the Doctor Strange episode only applied to that one universe.

I sorta agree, the only problems I have is that A. Canon events are multiverse wide, absolute points are single universe, and more importantly, B. The point of Miguel's explanation in ITSV is that he's just wrong. He's simply incorrect about what canon events are, how they work, and the consequences of breaking one.

hobie and pavitr doing the boxing handshake between lebron and d wade is probably the best easter egg in the movie

The way each spider hero swing is heavily inspired by their character, close contact and emotions.. Pavitr is yoyo plus kalari. Gwen is dance plus gymnast. Miles is traffic dodge plus mentor Peter plus Gwen style. Did Kobe swing or just stage dives. Pavitr Prabhakar uses Kalari mostly but you can see him rotating on own axis in center of screen clearly using his own body as a yoyo.. Might get more if you see how each one swing.. There is a depth to it.

I think If our miles hadn't been bitten by the spider he would have been a villainous prowler since uncle Aaron would have rubbed off on him more and his universe Peter would be alive and still be spiderman and earth 42 miles would have become his universe one and only spiderman instead of Peter Parker rather than our miles who was spiderman after Peter, we see miles change of destiny from evil prowler to good spiderman in his spiderman sense colour when he meets Peter since thats the moment his story changed course

Hobie Brown being from earth 138 is an homage to one of the greatest punk bands ever.

I really hope they continue making these type of movies for other spider people. But I also wish they did all comic stories in these style of animation, specially Ms Marvel. But imagine Young Avengers, Nova, etc.
