When I first played this game, I LOLed at that line at 3:48 : "The CUSHION!"

IMO, this was the best version of Shocker.

Really? I did. It's not that bad. It's the later levels that gave me TONS of issues as a kid playing this. Just the way they made games back then. It actually took real skill to complete.

I think the thing that annoyed me from this game was you couldnt go to ground level much

Ryax I believe that was the thing that annoyed a lot of people which is why Spider-Man 2 got so much praise because of the new found freedom of going anywhere you want to go. Overall, this is game is okay. I have quite a bit of fun with it but SM2 puts it to shame in so many ways.

What the MCU did to Shocker bordered on a war crime.

Tobey Maguire Actually makes jokes and wise cracks in both this game and second one more than he does the movies which is a shame and proves that he can be a good spider man if you give him the right material to work with.

Who else is going back to watch people play old spiderman games to build hype for the spiderman ps4 came coming out in 2018.

I love how Spiderman PS4's Shocker fight is pretty similar to this encounter. As well as the Shocker fight from Enter Electro

I love this mission reminds me to my childhood!

This was my favorite level as a kid. You really felt like a hero on this level cause you actually saved people. Not just beat up typical henchmen until you reach the level boss like most games

Absolutely. In straight Raimi fashion too, all the extra villains in the games were genuine menaces (Shocker, Vulture, Scorpion, Kraven, Rhino, Mysterio, Puma, Kingpin, Lizard)

i find it funny that the first two villains (Shocker and Vulture) you face in this game are the same ones from Homecoming. And in both cases they were partners

Shockers goons got some creepy voices.

Haven't been as hyped for a new Spiderman game as I was since this one came out so I'm watching the full playthrough again.

I remember playing this game from my childhood I loved it, and I still play it, and have it on Ps2 this was one of the best spider-man games ever to have played, and I loved the graphics, and cutscenes to this game very cool version. This was one of the best missions ever it's kinda cool to have shocker in both this spider-man game, and spider-man 2 except in the second game he has different henchmen with shock gloves like him, and his old henchmen in this spider-man game were all defeated, and locked away in jail I gotta say I loved this game.

0:30 this part always bugged me because it’s addressed in the movie that the webs won’t come out this way. It has to be upside down

How come most of the goons in the final part of the level attack the black guard? It doesn't matter if they're even hit by anyone else, they WON'T attack anybody else except the black guard.

Alex Howard Yep.. We all missed that part of the game and I didn't even know about it until a few years ago. I don't understand why they just didn't put it on all consoles. That's a ripoff when you consider that people paid the same price on all versions and the Xbox game got an extra chapter.
