Well, in the game's defense you can see that they've animated MJ to lift up Spidey's mask before they kiss, but due to the graphical limitations of the day the mask stays put.

*Goblin throws Spider-Man of the glider for the millionth time* Spider-Man: I can do this all day

Spider-Man: Hops onto glider and proceeds to beat the shit out of Goblin. Goblin: Don't be so difficult, Spider-Man.

There's so much wrong with this lol The ending is so abrupt we dont even get a final cutscene. Toby Maguire sounds like they just woke him up from a nap and recorded the dialogue in the hotel room. Green Goblin sounds like he switches voice actors at times. Mary Jane is so calm after being kidnapped and almost dying. The reveal of Norman being the GG to spiderman is so awkward and random tf did he take his mask off for?. Mary Jane is kissing a mask. They're making out in front of the corpse of a man they both know. MJ has no reaction to seeing Harry's dead father and her first instinct after watching someone die is make out. Happy music playing with a dead body insight. JUST ALL AROUND WEIRD.

This is what makes this good. That's what gives this value. If they just copy/pasted the movie scenes identically, there would be no value in this. If you want the "serious, high budget, well crafted" version watch the movie. If you want the hilarious memey low quality comedic version you play the game. They both have their own unique and creative value and both should be appreciated.

@@basedbattledroid3507 They did. The cheat ended up causing a minor controversy. Parents complained about their kids being able to see a "lesbian kiss" at the end of the game by playing as MJ, which resulted in the cheat's removal.

And I’m guessing both Peter and MJ used the memory-wipe power from Superman 2 on each other, as in Spider-Man 2 Peter forgot Norman’s dying words and MJ forgot he was Spider-Man... hmm.

I remember when I was like 11 I collected 10 Kellogg's box tabs & paid the post office to send them out just to receive the demo for this game for PC on a 98' Windows. Damn, the times have changed. But Tobey being the best Spidey of my movie childhood hasn't. I'm 27 now. Fuck with me.

I like how the actual actors voiced the characters. I also like how the graphics of the first two games are better than the third, although they were both released before it.

kinda like how the fight dosen't have the children and some abandoned place that spiderman fights green goblin. it takes place on the bridge and also mary jane has a diffrent outfit since in the movie she was asleep until she woken up in the bridge while the game she camed back from doing groceries until Green goblin came. i wish this happend in the actual movie since spiderman 2 & 3 final fight location look nice
