Yeah, definitely one of those missions I hated when I first played this level. Failed it so many times that I had to turn the game off. Till this day, I wonder why the developers give you non-stop fighting missions and out of nowhere, two stealth missions appear.

@@AnonymousAffection I found this mission really easy on Normal difficulty, but once I entered Hero mode, I got pissed off rather quickly. The guard's perception massively increases, and can spot you right out of nowhere. Just one moment out in the light, and they'll bark out for an alarm. Thankfully, I managed to defeat them by webbing them and throwing them around, but there have been moments I wanted to just kill them all.

@@AnonymousAffection My only prediction is that they thought that by giving you non-stop fighting missions, there wouldn't be much use for the heavily shadowed areas that they introduced in the second level of the game (only noticed this because I played on easier difficulties and Bruce Campbell's voice was present in earlier levels to explain some stuff through question marks) so to make better usage of it, they did some stealth. I personally would have thought it would be okay if there was more of those missions, but they just come right out of the blue and are gone once you finish them.

Funnest and most tough missions and they also scared the crap outta me but I loved it

Hated this mission, scary cause of many things, the music, the pressure of avoiding detection,difficult because of the stealth, and the moment they saw you and those robots came after you, scared the shit out of me

I know how you feel this mission really scared the crap out of me when I was 11 years old

I have this on PS2 since my childhood when I was 10 years old sure does bring back memories this was one of the hardest, and almost creepiest missions ever but I beat this level many times without getting caught by staying on the ceiling, and in the shadows.

The sound of the alarm going off always gave me chills as a kid lol

I remember this level, the background music always gave me chills in my spine. It was like playing a level where you must never get spotted by the guards or you would die.

Lol haha.. That's because I actually practiced playing the level before I recorded so I knew what to do already. But playing 45 minutes or longer is expected as this is a nerve racking level.

I was just reminded of this level and I had to look it up. Thanks for uploading! It terrified me as a kid and I think I only beat it once and gave up on my second play-through because I was so scared. To this day I still loath stealth missions in non-stealth games, especially when it’s an (practically) instant fail state.

I played this game so long ago and let's just say the stealth levels were so freaking scary even watching you play makes it just as scary

This level was one of the hardest. Especially the one after this one.

I will be honest when i did this level l thought spiderman was joking, cause all i see is regular guards, BUT YIKES, those soldiers rip you to PIECES. And NEVER go in the room where the guards come from cause the robots are just sitting in there.

Anyone remember the one room filled with those damn robot?

Just to think these graphics were considered the best when this game first came out in 2002 now they look dated compared to modern games. It really shows how far we've come in terms of power and graphics. The graphics on games now days look ultra realistic like they are in real life especially on PS4 / PS4 pro and XBOX ONE/ XBOX ONE X.

I always thought that spiderman 2 graphics were slightly worse than spiderman 1, even though it's 2 years newer, and the physics of the characters were like rag dolls I, like playing both games.

The best ? No, not at all. They were considered average, unexceptional. Metal Gear Solid 2 had far better blockbusters graphics who hold up even today. Same thing goes for Resident Evil Remake.

Not only with the one part with chemicals and robots, but this one scares the entire living shit out of me, bit I got through it though

Same here! I remember drawing the patterns on paper and studying it at school hoping to pass it when I got home 😅

This level made me shit my pants as a kid. I think I recall quitting the game for at least a couple years and coming back to beat it when I was a more intelligent and braver 4th grader.

I dont why, but these stealth missions were the ones I came back to the most. I guess I thought they were pretty fun.

I went in there but not for that reason. I went in there just to get a kick out of how fast Spiderman dies. Good times.

I hated the following oscorp levels as much as a human can.

I hated this mission and the next mission I couldn’t finish it for years but somehow managed to beat the game.

Something about the quiet alarm always terrified me because it’s not a loud alarm - I feel like it was more scary - and then you see the freaking robot, trying to murder you shooting missiles and lasers

This game has got even better graphics than SPIDERMAN 3 AND THAT CAME OUT 5 YEARS AFTER SPIDERMAN 1 FOR PS2 AND XBOX ORIGINAL. GOES TO SHOW THAT NEW ISNT ALWAYS BETTER. I KNOW ITS NOT NEW ANYMORE BUT IT WAS NEW BACK IN 2007 AND THE OLD ONE BEATS ITVIN TERMS OF GRAPHICS AND CHARACTER MODEL DETAILS. ISNT THAT WEIRD.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Yeah, you could say the character models and overall graphics were better because this game didn't have free roam. I believe most people stated Spider-Man 2 graphically looks worse than this game. But it's understandable because adding in free roam uses up a lot of resources and everything isn't going to look as smooth as a linear leveled game.

If you can handle the security camera sound, you might have what it takes for fnaf. Also, I think the only way to get secrets here is to either regain health from that early elevator or not have one of the web moves by this point.

I liked this level, it was so fun remaining in stealth mode and avoiding detection

Whenever I do this level, I make sure to stick to the ceiling, only popping down onto the ground every now and then to access the computers.

Still, this is funny as this game was made during when they havent made the fact that Norman figured out Peter was Spider-Man yet. So, all the 2002 Tie In Games had Norman only knows about Spider-Man and not Peter Parker being him as they probably never made that part of the script yet

I really hate the stealth levels in this game,they're so suspenseful and hard to beat and they're also scary as well,because if the guards or the security cameras spot you,it will trigger the alarm and when the alarm activates,run like hell and hide to the shadows as quickly as possible before those terminator like soldiers find you and kill you on sight. And those soldiers are scary as hell.

I used to be a huge of Spider-Man when I was a kid. As soon as I had played this level I began to hate it. It is the worst game of Spider-Man because of the stealth levels. Only one mistake and you are done. Besides the sound effects of this level is scarier than horror movie effects. The fucking alarm sound makes me want to die whenever I hear it. By the way this game could have been very good scary game because of its jump scares 😂.

Spider-man got it guard stealth bonus 1000 picture Perfect time

Even though the game tells you to go stealthy but Spidey could teach himself to be more sneaky. It's difficult to do, almost as if you're supposed to be detected! Hitman makes spider man look bad! I sometimes tell myself that Spider man is a joke! It's almost funny.

Aahhh the bane of my video game life as a child…..freaking oscorp….

You know how in the movie how Goblin figured out that Spider-man's identity when he noticed Spider-man and Peter had the same cut on his arm and only then going after MJ? Yeah, there's no reason to go after MJ here. All he got is a photo of her kissing Spider-man on the cheek after saving her. For all he know, that's just a fan girl taking a kiss opportunity.

Honestly, this mission and chemical chaos, nope. I used the "unlock all levels" cheat since no way I was going to beat these two missions. I did years later... once. Oscorp's Ultimate Weapon and Escaping Oscorp were more fun since the third one was fighting the giant robot, while escape means GTFO of there.

No I do not. But if you have an xbox 360, just get the Xbox version off ebay for $7-10. It's very cheap online. Or just get the PC version as it's cheap as well.

Instead of the super soldier robots what if the enemies were the following pokemon: male Zebstrika, Gallade, Golurk, male Garchomp and, male Zoroark. While the security guards are still the same. While you played as a shiny Mewtwo that flies.

Weirdest thing in this game is that those super robots are much stronger than the bosses of the game. As for spider-man he is really weak in this game. In my opinion this is the worst spider-man game EVER!!!.
