Great Review Joe. I do also have a theory I would like to tell you. I don't think the symbiote was never evil. It got corrupted when it was bonded to Peter, as it brings out all the surpressed emotions within the host. Think about it, when it was with Harry, There was barely any influence, because Harry had no reason to be upset about anything. He's healed, reunited with his Best friends, and building the Emily May Foundation. Everything changes when Kraven stabs and almost kills Peter, Harry goes beserk and rails on Kraven, as he beats the absolute crap out of him. Then the symbiote bonds to Peter, whom was at the verge of death and has so many surpressed emotions after everything he's been through. Slowly, the symbiote gets to know Peter, and allows him to take out his frustrations as Black Suit Spider-Man. The frustrations also comes from him not getting appreciated as Spider Man after everything he's done for the city and losing the people he loves such as Uncle Ben, Aunt May, fighting his friends turned villains such as Doctor Octopus and Mr. Negative. After he takes out after an amazing fight with miles, the symbiote feels that he was rejected by Peter, after everything they've done together. Also, Kraven is also at fault for triggering the symbiote for destroying the Emily May Foundation, creating the lizard, and for numerous amount of hunter attacks. Then when Peter takes the symbiote back to Oscorp as you see that Harry is at a poor physical state, and also emotionally hurt by Peter's insults and his Father for not being there for him when he needs him. The Symbiote sees that Harry is in a poor state and it chose to bond with him, and the reason for venom being massively huge is the inner demons and frustrations within Harry and also the symbiote feeling betrayed by Peter, and when you fuse all that, Venom is created. Furthermore proof about the symbiote not being fully evil, when Mary Jane becomes Scream, she also lets her frustrations out from her personal lives. Same thing with Harry in the final battle for being abandoned and replaced. Can't wait for Spider Man 3. Nevertheless, Great Review Joe, as I agree with everything you said about this amazing game . I never thought of it that way, but I guess that does make sense since they did the Agent Venom with Harry. Ultimately, I think that’s what it’s supposed to do to its host by bringing out your dark side if you are vulnerable enough to those tendencies. Really looking forward to seeing what happens next in Spider-Man 3!
