i really do love this personification of Norman, yeah he's a sleezy multi billion dollar CEO but as far as we've seen in the story he hasnt even acted against peter or miles until this point. he just seemed mildly inconvenienced by him. the man truly loves his son and just desperately wants him to live, but at every attempt it appears as if spiderman has stopped him. first with devils breath now with the symbiote, and as we learn at the end next with the goblin serum. insomniacs truly building Norman to be an amazing third game antagonist with great development across all the games so far!!

​@@Silver_meteor0418 Can you blame him? He actually was trying his best to save his wife and child throughout the series. He created the devil's breath for that purpose itself. His intention was not to harm or kill others though in the first part he shifted the blame of Martin's parents' death and Martin's condition to Otto and didn't take the responsibility, but he himself was unaware of the outcome of the experiments he conducted. When he saw the Symbiote and studied it (which he had kept with him for ages in his lab), he saw a potential cure in it for Harry. The Symbiote was risky but he had to bet that harry would be able to control it and the Symbiote won't get strong enough to dominate him. And the logic fits since Symbiote's host was weak, Symbiote will have a tough time to control its host. In a sense it was indirectly Pete's fault to come in contact with the Symbiote I think, as Symbiote was able to power up and gain it's consciousness when it was on Peter.

Those crush attacks get me every single time because I don't notice the blue halo until I've already clicked the parry button 💀

If u wanna know when crush attacks occur, turn up your game audio. Crush attacks are indicated by four rapid beeps while heavies are two slow beeps.

Edit: Fought the Lizard after this comment and definitely noticed the sounds through my headset. Still got hit a bunch of times because he's pretty fast on Ultimate 😂

Damn, you are good. You have no idea how many times it took me to beat the boss. Each phase took me like around 10 tries(don't remember what the actual count is but this is what it felt like). I decided to play it on Spectacular right from the start because I wanted a challenge and boy it was insane

Yeah it felt weird with how the bossfight was done in the final act. It didn't feel like we were doing a final boss.

I’m pretty sure Norman’s gonna learn from his mistakes. He’s gonna try testing the g serum on himself first, since the symbiote wasn’t the way to cure his son and that went horribly since it wasn’t properly tested. To save Harry, he’s gonna risk himself, but the g serums gonna have some horrible side effects, and turn him into the green goblin

It's so silly that I didn't do any parry on the Peter fight and learned the parriable ones after I got to the Miles fight... The fight took so long on the first one, after the parry thing Venom's ass kicked far more easier. I wish I could see your video first lol. Wonderful play!

It was so disappointing for me when Peter didnt deal with symbiote in him himself since its quite literally he’s character arc of him trying to let go of the temptation, but instead Miles had to beat the shit out of him for him to remove it And here in the end i was so hoping it wouldn’t be Miles turn against Venom since Spiderman Vs Venom is literally the most iconic thing but instead Miles had to be the one to do the final Phase, well at least Peter got to the Final blow but it was a cutscene sadly.

Ah, good guys, always taking the time to have full conversations about highschool when its a life or death situation

Nice. I did my ultimate play through with base damage only (damage upgrade untouched) and honestly I regret putting a point into it after beating the game. I kinda had to though to get the trophy but I liked excessively using the parry system in fights rather than finishing opponents in a few punches.

This is like watching mortal kombat but just a spiderman version 😂

It is definitely harder on ultimate difficulty, its decrease by a second or so. Simply put for the Venom fight, you should learn and practice parrying/dodging the respective moves. After that point it'll become muscle memory.

How? Bro got his butt beat. Even after Peter had weakened Venom. Peter fought Venom in both his forms. Venom wasn't able to do much as crazy stuff as he did with Peter. Anti-Venom powers is what carried Peter and Miles.

Does anyone know what Venom refers to when he says "We remember what you did in the forest!"? Because I've played through this game multiple times, and I believe the only interactions Harry and Miles had was at Coney Island and when Harry calls Miles about the FNSM app. So it confuses me.

Never though I’d see max level Spider-Man destroy venoms 19-inches

This video shows exactly why I recompleted the game on ultimate difficulty only parrying heavy attacks (yellow ones). The light attacks (red ones) and blue (cant parry anyway) i only dodged for every single boss fight and took 0 damage. Took way longer, way more fun and looks so much better bro. Parrying every light attack etc makes it so much easier. Not even a challenge.

At least on regular difficulty you get to max level naturally by doing all the side content and story missions. No need to grind. Could be different on harder difficulty
