My theory as to why the Scream Symbiote just disappeared is that i think it dissolved. Venom (and carnage) is the only Symbiote we see in it’s goo form for a long period of time. I think this is because Venom is the only (for lack of a better word) “real” symbiote. I like to call them “core symbiotes”. The ones he spreads are part of a hive mind, and not their own organism. My guess is that since the other symbiotes aren’t core symbiotes, they can’t survive outside of a body for very long. And they die almost instantly because of a lack of a nutrient supplying host. This is further enforced by the fact we only see the symbiote spread by physical contact (like when venom turned MJ, or when the horde got Peter before Miles and Li created anti venom). It’s not like the Symbiotes can just shoot globs that turn people. They need to be directly applied, since the goo forms seemingly can’t survive without a host at any moment. Another thing reinforcing my theory is that after Peter got the Venom “core symbiote” off, it tried to jump back on him. But miles contained it before it could. Meanwhile the Scream symbiote just laid there, not attempting to jump back on, and disappeared. Same with the smaller Symbiotes, as soon as you defeat them. It immediately disappears, even if it’s host is lying directly on it.

That could also explain why in the comics the Life foundation symbiotes are so much weaker than venom or carnage because they were forced and not their own symbiotes but instead made by a real symbiotes and were extracted from venom unlike carnage who was born like a normal symbiote.

Yeah the symbiote dissolved , when I played the game I also wondered where did that nasty little thing go and if you look to the side of Peter and MJ you see the symbiote dissolve in the background

I'm surprised they turned MJ into Scream and not Carnage Queen, that would be a very awesome "Ultimate Spider-man" reference. But i think the Devs wanted to make a joke of how MJ always screams in the Sam Raimi movies so that's also a +1

@@sumoathelstan no, it's not just one smashing button, Insomniac has not only improve the combat upon its predecessor but for combat they added depth to it like parry feature, rage mode, symbiote abilities, spider arm abilities, Miles' bio electric abilities, etc. Plus it has enemy varieties something the first game lacked. Also for the reduced gadgets, it's good because that way it will make you not so op. If they had more gadgets then it wouldn't be challenging. Marvel's Spider Man 2 combat is way challenging then the first game. There is combat varieties like you have to use more buttons. The first game is spamming one button where Marvel's Spider Man 2 had more buttons for combat. Also Marvel's Spider Man 2 combat is realistic and make you feel like Spider Man. Web of Shadows is good but it doesn't make you feel like Spider Man. It's unrealistic combat because it's too op and makes you feel like Goku. Require skill doesn't always mean better. Plus quality over quantity

The only different things you’re doing are the parries and abilities,with less gadgets.Baseline stuff that barely adds a new layer to the gameplay systems you’ll be using over the 18 something hr game.If you thought gadgets in the 2018 game made you op you probably played it on normal. Remind me, how many more types of enemies are there? A true sequel would be if they made improvements on the level of kh2, dmc3, or yakuza sequels.

It's enough to make it different. It's a sequel so it should be like that. Plus it's already better then the first one as it got 91 on Metacritic while the first one got 87

TBH The boss fight I have the hardest time trying to beat was The Peter versus Miles boss fight Peter just wouldn't give me a break friendly neighborhood to ultimate difficulty Peter would not give me a break

My theory for the next game (spoiler warning) as we saw in one of the post credit scenes, Norman visits Otto octavious and asks who is Spider-Man etc… and Norman really wanted revenge on the spider-Men so Norman will free all the bad guys Spider-Man has fought before and they will all go after the spidermen and they will be defeated, and in the meantime Norman will find a way to kill both spidermen himself and he will become the green goblin. Deaths: MJ and Norman Osborn

Also Also, if you wear the classic black suit and go into Photo Mode, go to character mode, go to Facial Expression 6, I won't say it's a reference but it does look a hell of a lot like his eyes in Web of Shadows.

@@LG-gd7loyou can dodge him in mid air but the issue is your webs have no affect so unlike most bosses where you can just spam webs and go in for a quick combo that ability gets taken away from you so you have to really go in when he’s wide open

There are people who give this game flack because there’s so many flaws in their eyes. Me? I think this game is damn fine. Plenty of content, plenty of cool villains, cool new stuff, call-backs and references to old stuff… This had a great amount of content.

4:24 has three cars to represent venom scream and Spider-Man. You can’t prove me wrong, because literally a red car right behind Spider-Man scream has a car under her and then venom has a black car in front of him.

Yes and No. Key difference being it take a few hours in the game before you get the symbiotic, and the goo monster city invasion. Spider man Web of shadows is better for enemy variety and having the symbiotic off the batt early on, Insomniac Spider man is better for great symbiotic power set that fits in well with a slight more grounded in reality game.
