    I agree...The architecture of plants is amazing! Then God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit according to their kind with seed in them”; and it was so. The earth produced vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, according to their kind; and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:11-12

    Plant question: I have mine all huddled in my dinning room for the winter. It happens to be the coldest part of the house but gets the most natural light, I’m in Colorado. I just bought a tiny desk heater to try and warm that area up is that not a good idea? Thank you!! 🙏🏼 PS- I have mostly low maintenance box store plant babies If that helps.

    Hi Shandy, I'm in Colorado too. She probably stopped the heated air from blowing on the plants since it dries them out. I have electric wall heaters and as long as my plants have enough humidity, they love the heat.

  • @christinekobzeff

    @christinekobzeff

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Shandy! Great question! April, who replied is absolutely right, a lot of our plant babies enjoy the warmth. Usually the temperature range we're comfortable in, is what our plants are comfortable in too. I'm sure you're doing a great job! For our plant room, we blocked off the central heating/AC vent for winter, since the hot air blows in so strongly it dries out the air and stresses out some of our more sensitive plants. Instead, I use a space heater in the plant room during winter but it's a Presto HeatDish, so it heats up the room slowly without blowing hot dry air around the room. 👍

    Wow so much rain water are they really good for the plants? I guess you need to have it back in room temperature before using it otherwise the plants be freezing when water them. Your living room area do you use it much? You don’t use it as a cosy area at night? The blank wall space no tv where you mentioned you put an art work there. The tile floors i do feel they are uncomfortable. Carpet or wooden floors i would prefer to have at the living space. And just tiles at the kitchen and bathrooms. Carpets in bedrooms. The trailing down cactus they remind me a bit of the monkey tail plant. Wow you have so many of them.

  • @christinekobzeff

    @christinekobzeff

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Mandy! Oh yes, the plants thrive with rain water, I bring it inside so it can warm up to room temperature before watering. I'm not a fan of these tile floors either, they did all the rooms in this tile and didn't bother to even seal the grout but luckily we're just renting here. Otherwise if it was my choice I'd gut the entire house and remodel from top to bottom. Oh yeah we haven't owned a TV for almost 20 years. Most of the time I'm doing something fun within my hobbies or we're in our home office working.
