Pre ordered the lilac version. I have the little sizzix sidekick, but the additional 1” width on the scout will make a difference on the amount of dies I can use without in the machine taking out the platinum 6 or empress. Thanks for the unboxing, and hope you’ll have a chance to rest and recover!

Love this! I have the Stampin' Up mini but it doesn't do a great job cutting all dies. It has a problem anytime something is a hair too thick. This looks like it would cut everything.

I have a SU mini also but I struggle with it. I’m hopeful the Scout is better.

very nice, I like the longer cutting plates. alas, I already have many machines but this looks like a good small one if that's what you're looking for. I have the universal plates for my regular Spellbinders and they are the best for embossing. tfs

Love the new machines, I am drawn to the Lilac, purple is my favorite color. QUESTION nothing to do with crafts, I am thinking about getting a tattoo to represent my son, who loves tattoo's, he has some mental issues and I want to know if it hurt when you received yours? How long does it take to heal? I was wanting some colors as well what do you think about that?

Everything kind of depends on the size and design of the tattoo. I have some smaller ones that didn't take long maybe and hour or two. Simple line art with a tad bit of color. It's kind of like a little sting. When lines are thicker, it gets a little more painful because they have to keep going over the area but most artists are very considerate and give small breaks in between. Healing time also varies. They have protective wraps you were over the tattoo for the first week and then I'd say after that a few more weeks before fully healed. Again, it varies. I would definitely shop around with your tattoo artist. Meet with them, found out their process and find one you feel comfortable. Good luck!

I've been using my Gina K Designs Intri Cut lately for that but I will experiment and see if I remember for the Platinum 6.
