I am a purple fanatic. Most of my clothes are purple, my eyeglasses, my purse. I only use pens with purple ink, yeah, I'm a little obsessed! lol. I've wanted a platinum 6 for a long time. When they came out with the teal one, I kept saying they need to do a purple one. I've resisted just because I've been spending money like a drunken sailor lately & my 20 yr old big shot still works great, but.....I could resist no longer! My birthday is in 3 weeks, so I just ordered this beauty! Happy 61st birthday to me!!! hehehe. I'm giddy, & can't wait to get it! If course I had to put a couple BOGO things on there too. I'm only teasing when I say this, but i have to stop watching your channel. There's a BOGO order that just shipped that you made me buy the other day 😳🙄🤭

So beautiful! If this was done in a shimmer red with gold accents and the flowers to match, I would purchase all new machines. However I am conrmplating this one because it is just so pretty.

Quick question about top plates: I die cut like you where I cut downward, especially for BetterPress but I still tend to get marks from the dies on my top plates even though I cut down. I cannot keep the plates completely new and unmarked and it marks up my BP papers and drives me crazy. Any tips on how I can get the plate not indented?

Hi. Just wanted to tell you that you won't be able to keep the plates completely unmarked. If your machine is loose enough, you can put 1 or 2 pieces of copy paper between the top of the die & the cutting plate, but depending on how tight your machine is, it could be too much pressure, you'd just have to try it. The plates are considered to be consumables. They'll get marked, warped & eventually possibly even break & need to be replaced.

Why don’t you call her lyla as lilac has Li La in it. Sounds the same spelt different.

Call her Shimmer.
