    This is why I spent 6 hours trying to get pass IKon2's throttle check. No electronic adjustments could get me passes their throttle check feature. I ended up returning the unit. But, I did just follow up since I want to give it another try. Ikon said to check the mechanical travel as they've been seeing this issue with Spektrum recently. And, that's what brought me to your video. Thanks.

    Thanks so much for doing these videos!! Would be lost as a newbie to the hobby without your help and if I had to rely on the transmitter manual! Is there any chance you could do a video directed a newbies to discuss the different charging solutions you would consider and what you have found to be the best in your experience? Having trouble sorting through all the options. Eg ac versus dc versus ac/dc combined plus field charging solution when electricity isn’t available at the field. Do you charge batteries at the field or just carry enough batteries for the flying you want to do that day. Thanks again for your time and clear explanations of subjects. Greetings from Canada!

    Id say that would be good video for sure! I have electricity where i fly so i charge the batteries i need.However you can get a DC charger which can work off your vehicle battery too! Thanks for the support and watching from Canada :)

    I just got a new NX10SE and the gimbals do not have the cover that you show. They have a set screw with no cover. I have 0-100 throttle as it is but the stick does not move all the way up and down. How do I adjust this version. I cannot find any instructions or pics of this. THANKS

  • @BDTennessee

    @BDTennessee

    I would personally. I want full movement. The right stick has full movement as mentioned in the video,so you dont need to adjust it.

    Just checking if you can help me with a question. I'm putting a 4s 75c battery in my powered glider for less weight. I'm nervous about using to much throttle for the motor and esc . Question, can I limit my max throttle on my nx10? BTW 75c is the most of all the batteries I have the rest are 30c. Thanks again for your help.

  • @BDTennessee

    If the glider is made for 4S and you only worried cause higher C ratiing ,dont worry.Battery only provides what the ESC/motor pulls...

    If my range with the switches still set to the left is -100 to +100, how do you re-calibrate the throttle (electric planes) if you move these limit switches to the right?

  • @BDTennessee

    You push them right to unlock the extra movement. Then you go to System Settings in setup menu. Go to last screen and its calibration screen.Calibrate controls.

    HELP - my NX8 throttle seems to be backwards on startup with throttle in lowest position, I get a THROTTLE HIGH warning - if I push the throttle all the way up it stops at the lowest positon the throttle value on the main screen at the top shows 100 at the highest position it shows 0 (this is backwards from usual) How can this be fixed ? - thanks rc guy in Tennessee

    Followed your directions! After recalibrating (on my EF 70mm F-16), my throttle comes on at a lower setting than previously, but “tops out” at approximately 84% with no noticeable increase in tone(rpm) when continuing up to full travel. Seems odd?

    Here is what i got: "It's a feature of high-end radios from the past. A lot of the top pilots of yore wanted less throttle stick movement as it helped them have better control of the rudder at all throttle settings, as the angle change on the throttle stick was less."

    Why would Spectrum limit the movement of the stick instead of ajust it to full course the first time? Is there is a reason? An advantage?

  • @BDTennessee

    @BDTennessee

    Жыл бұрын

    When low throttle it helps with rudder control since the stick isnt pointing almost straight down. Preference either way so its option.
