Waiting for mine going with 1515 castle 2200kv motor and mamba monster 2 8s run sensorless with custom spool etc 100mph is the goal on 4s but honestly these things look that sick I'd be happy with 80 😂🙏💚

If I had a place to drive an onroad car I would love that. Looks epic! 👍👊👍

just putting a video together NOW and I think I'M IN LOVE with this HoBao VT

I have the hyper vs 1/8 buggy version which is almost the same. I haven't broken it in 1 year of running it multiple times a week on 6s. I crashed it on 6s full throttle into a metal pole roof first and it survived! Can't say the same for my batteries...

I do speed runs , and one of my cars is the vt , love it , i love it so much pick me up another one few days ago

Looks like she's going to rip!.. funny thing as soon as I seem those louvers I was thinking I would cut them out as well.. good for down force and motor/ESC cooling.. can't wait to see it run!

@@rcguygarage yes I am. The smells and the noises are so much better than electric. Just doesn't have that crazy instant torque. Once it fully broke in though it should be fast enough though! I'm still getting the tune dialed in.

Love it, and guess where the custom body for my Maxx came from. I have a nitro .30 version that I plan to convert to electric, then put the Maxx body on it lol

BOX STOCK but PLENTY OF POTENTIAL

I have 2 of these cars, I put a Castel XLX ESC in one and a Hobbywing Max5 in the other both with TP motors thy scream! And you will have to trim the body wheel wells and the body front end cause it will scrape. The tiers are crap and will balloon.

Yes i wasn't expecting it to fly BUT it did surprise me with its handling of the road though. 4s 23tooth 54mph 🤣😂 looks faster. Gearing looks to be a problem though? Good to know you're 8s👍💯👊 already saw the fronts I believe balloon on a 53 pass squeezed 54 at the last minute when i was done. 2000kv torky motor but the gearing is that issue. I do have a 427HW that I'll just toss in to see the differences between on 4s

@@rcguygarage I is well worth a few power upgrades, I'm hitting over 100mph on both mine also you my want add some weight to the front cause as you add speed it will fly. Also I put a Potoform Corvette one it fits like a glove

I have the X01 definitely a speed demon 😈

🤔😳the old way ?? 🤔😆😆 Are you kidding me buddy 😂😂 Well ok if the old way is only putting one coat on your shell and no backing then maybe its "your" old way but I've been spraying body shells for 20 years and one coat has always been translucent !! But to buy an RTR and be able to see through the body that easily, well we have another name for it , we call it cheap ass spraying 😂😂😉👍 That said , these Hobao cars are tank tough and are capable of putting Arrma to shame 😉👍
