I bought my Krebs Custom SL-2 (Speed Load) AK years ago. It was built off of a Vepr, and about a decade later it's still one of my favorite AKs. I want one of these, BAD!
That index finger mag release is a timesaver and god sent .

I like everything about that gun except for the high mounted picatiny.
That 74 style comp will punish you on that short bbl, but the rest looks awesome.
The left side safety looks like an extended Sig 556 version they made years ago. I bet they had some laying around. Well done!

Thats a very nice piece! Is Krebs going to offer the speed loader alignment plate to the public? And if so when is the estimated time frame. I dont want to miss out on getting on if he does. Any info you have would be great. Thanks for your time.

These components may appear on the upcoming M23 production rifles, I'm not sure if they plan to offer the parts seperately.

I’m guessing that the speed loader is only for right handed reloads?

The demo we received, yes. I suppose it would be possible to mirror those features if there was enough demand.
