Sped up scroll work- Live Edge Walnut with deer

Here I am cutting a plaque of a few deer. This was cut on an Excalibur 21" scrollsaw. I used an Olson 2/0 blade for this. If you have any questions, let me know! I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks! It's a number 2 Olson brand reverse tooth blade. 1/2" walnut is the wood! Thanks!

Leldon, is that packing tape top of the pattern? If so, is it just to hold the pattern to the work piece, or does it serve another purpose? Thanks.

The pattern was printed in 4 sheets, I just used the packaging tape to tape the paper together to get the design together. The blue painters tape on the bottom helps in removing the pattern and also helps lubricating the blade during cutting to prevent burning of the wood!

I am new to your channel. I also am a scroller. I don't own an Excalibur but have drooling over them. Can you tell me what makes an Excalibur better than other saws on the market? I enjoy watching your work and will definitely subscribe to your channel. The antelope you see next to my post is one of my works.

Great work! I love the Excalibur saw I have. The blade changes are fast, the saw has power, and a great sized table top to support your scroll saw pieces. The updated versions make releasing the tension easier by just using a flip type switch that releases the tension. Great warranty too! I would recommend buying one from seyco.com if you live in the USA. They have great service and can help if a problem ever does arise!
