Owl - scroll saw art

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Welcome to Russell'sWoodShed.
Todays project: Owl - scroll saw art
Project time: 20 minutes per owl
Project Notes: This one was a request from a friend. He sent me a picture found on Pintrest. I don't know the identity of the original designer.
Materials: 3/4" pallet wood
Our original templates are designed in Inkscape on a MacBook Pro.
The videos are recorded using a GoPro Hero4 (great camera) or an iPhone. We use iMovie on a Mac to edit our videos.
The music in our videos comes from the sound library on the mac which is "royalty free".
We hope you enjoy all of our content.

Thanks for watching.

+joca It is called a scroll saw. It uses small 5" long (127 mm) scroll saw blades. The blade is attached to the arms above and below the table. The saw model that i use is a Dewalt DW788. I have been using it for 5 months with no issues.

You should be looking for the spiral blades. Since they make it easier for the curves. 😊
