Spectacular Views In The Clouds! Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway - New Hampshire
The first passenger aerial tramway in North America began operation on this site in 1938. Almost seven million passengers were carried to the top by the first tram. Take a scenic eight minute ride in one of two enclosed cable cars to the 4,080 foot summit of Cannon Mountain and enjoy panoramic views of the distant valleys and mountains. Each tram car has a maximum capacity of 80 persons and ascends 2,180 feet vertically. Walking trails to a summit observation tower leave from the tram station if you chose to hike up the mountain instead.
In the winter, Cannon Mountain is a favorite among skiers, with 97 trails and slopes for all abilities. Cannon is the home of the New England Ski Museum which is located near the base of the tramway.
The aerial tramway is one of New Hampshire's most spectacular rides. The tramway brings visitors to the 4,080' summit of Cannon Mountain in approximately eight minutes. On a clear day, visitors will enjoy views of the mountains of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Canada, and New York. At the summit there are walking paths, an observation deck, cafeteria, and restrooms.

We enjoyed the tram ride up Cannon Mountain, Tori and Dan. Such a historical tram too! Shame about the clouds on that day, but we're happy they broke for you on the way down. Stunning views of the beautiful area! I can't say we've ever been on a tram similar to this. Some ski lifts that are beautiful though in West Virginia and Colorado. Your right that the clouds move in and out up in the mountains. We've waited a full day in Washington and Mt. Rainer peeked out just a few times! Lovely day. Thanks so much for bringing us along.

Thank you Dave and Kathy for watching and always leaving us good comments. This was so much fun to record and experience. We loved the hike despite the fog. The best gondolas, tram, ski lifts are in Whistler, BC. Take gondola to Peak 2 Peak to the 7th Heaven chair lift. AMAZING! We vlogged that at the start of our channel. We have seen Mt Rainier, but Tori needs to go. I was there with my parents when I was about 14

Just imagine the views on a clear day! However, it's a different experience in the clouds. I bet Tim would LOVE to climb those stairs. Beautiful ride down. Great video guys!

What a beautiful day to explore! Such a nice area to hike. Beautiful forest. I’m sure that bench that had your name on it was super welcomed after that trek haha. Cool that the radio tower is still active. Scary about the radio frequencies! I had no idea. You really are up in a cloud, how amazing! Awesome video as always!! 😊

That was definitely a cool Skylift ride! And the timing was perfect for when you guys went down! It was pretty cloudy up there, when you were pointing at the mountains to look at, there was nothing but clouds lol. You guys did a great job on the hike!I’m sure that observation deck would have been epic if there were no clouds

Yeah the ride was sweet! The clouds were crappy at first but at least we made the best of what we had. It was our only chance to go so we went anyway! Memories were made!

I know right?!?!? I was such a mean dad. The radio frequency stuff was surprising to us....like we hiked all this way for this? And clouds didn't help but it was fun at least!
