Hubby/wife is one lucky sum'bitch to have that for dessert every night ;) Bet she's like chinese food... eat it until your full, then somehow you're starving again 30 minutes later and gotta eat more.

Personally I never use pecan before however I did use cherry for smoking purposes. I think my favorite will always be hickory for smoking.

Zoey, your pee-can wood is puh-cawn here in the Ozarks! Also, for smoking, heating and even for lumber… pecan and hickory are used interchangeably. They are very close relatives and both plentiful here. BTW… nice job of splitting. You’re really getting the hang of that machine.
