You should see the British Pilots extract SBS operatives from the water. They drive the boat straight in the Chinook! First people to do it also.

Only in the video "intro" was the helo in the water... Computer animation to lure you into watching. (If that was salt water it would destroy any and all electrical components coming into contact)

The civian porposes are unlimited . The chinook is truck you learn to fly .

When exercises are done by NATO, I see the Chinook's, from our port to their destinations, they fly all the day going back and forth. Also, when they send in troops, they are getting picked up and transported, because we don't have these, I look at them with an aaah. They have that distincter sound.
In Brazil the Police Helicopter is also use for medic evac, when the closest hospital is too far away

@@wishwise0 Tho i don't agree with the naming they use, Due to its design the V-22 Osprey is classed by the USAF and its other users as a Helicopter and the fastest helicopter. As i said i dont agree and think its just a plane with big props officially thats not the case it seems.

Amazing work

Amphibious ship or submarine are best but amphibious ship are best because it can serve air squadron
I was stationed at Ft. Campbell and in the unit out past the airfield. It came time to re-up and I gave another four years while airborne (yeah I was that too) in an MH-47D. Those helos are like a deuce and a half…they will get you there!

It wasn't designed by Boeing, Boeing bought the company that designed it! Fun fact : towards the end of Vietnam, a chinook transported over 140 refugees in one go!

I was fortunate to have been flown on both the Black Hawk (over a dozen times) and a Chinook choper (a couple of times). Both quite sturdy and reliable. This was back at Fort Campbell in the middle 90s.
