A Nat.Guard supply convoy entered 101st AO and came across a firefight between the 101st and Taliban fighters. Without establishing comms, they engaged what they thought was an enemy position, but turned out to be friendlies.

Loved the way the Ma Deuce was running. Like others have said in the comments, that crew was taking great care of her. Keeping those empty links knocked out of the far side of the feed tray is a clear sign of experience. Good trigger control too with the 10-12 round bursts.

This is a good point. I have saw comments on other videos from folk who said it was the general cleanliness and head spacing of the chamber that determined the reliability with the Ma deuce. Anyone with direct experience have any insight? Some civilians are curious 🙂 I ask simply because it's an MG from Browning, how does it not run well for the troops at times? Especially considering the few armorers I've met in person that are ex-military seem to be pretty knowledgeable about firearm maintenance lol.

Suppress with pure fire power. Like you said lucky they weren't up against real enemy. They would of been wiped out in a second. No spacing no target indication terrible drills. Still gotta love the yanks they don't give a shit.
