They really ruined it with doa 5LR and doa 6. 5LR was a fun game but it's what 5 should have been to begin with. Now the games become so heavily monetized with costumes that unlocking things in the main game is no longer fun and the combat is just an afterthought, and the story they just gave up on Maybe DOA7 will fix the issues with the series

And second in 6 they really put more focus in the mission mode and had way to many micro transaction, I mean how many did cost everything? 2500$? They even demanded money for hair color. i don't have the exact amount in mind (plus/minus conversion in other currencies)

​@@MaxWeb2599yea but they fixed the hair color mistake. Also looking at the bs micro transactions going on now like 12 dollar fatalities and street fighter 6 10 dollar costumes. Dead or alive 6 was a bargain and a lot of the costumes were extremely well done for the price. Season passes were roughly 99 bucks and considering what you got was actually a bargain looking back. Of course at the time we all thought it was bogus bs, but looking at sf6 and mk now, i wish they didn't give up on us. I doubt there will ever be a doa 7 because of the backlash of 6. Literally right after the complaints of the hair they said fuck it and sent out that message saying we're done heres your last update
