@Holden Mcgroine you can still have a cat! If you really want one, hypoallergenics might be the best type of cats for you.

My husband and I had 7 cats they all all all passed away and it was heartbreaking he says will never have any more cats last year we found that my husband had terminal cancer and he surprised me with a cat so I wouldn't be by myself. She's the joy of my life. My husband passed away last year. in May. She has been my companion. Very mischievous sometimes

I love the way he cat proofed his house by taping the chords to his walls. With the cardboard boxes and makeshift ramps attached to his bed. He doesn’t care about vanity. He cares about his cats well being and happiness. That is the most beautiful part of all.

I think Scooter is just perfect for him! There is no "dis" in disabled, no handicapped for this girl - she is handi-capable and 'abled' in every way. "Imperfect" to some is "diamond perfection" to others. and he has a polished diamond that will never give up on him. I love her little "Boot-Scootin' boogie"!

I had this happen to me as well. I come from a farm and cats were just tools...not pets. My wife dumped a tiny little ball of fur on my chest she had found one morning and left for work. I was so pissed!! Then she meowed at me and nuzzled my chin. She is the second love of my life. I named her Dianna because she is a tough Little fighter! Could NOT imagine life without her now!!!

I used to be this guy too...until my wife said she wanted a cat for her birthday. I didnt want to but in the end, got Oscar del Gato for her. Now hes my boy. Sleeps at my feet every night. I couldnt imagine our life without him now and I love him dearly. We enjoyed having him so much we adopted another rescue cat from our local shelter. Lol. The 2 of them have enhanced our lives in ways I never thought possible. They arent pets...they are family.

Odd to me when people don’t like certain animals. When they never really got to know any of them. Happy for this kitty and thankful he changed his mind about cats. I rescue very elderly dogs and am super allergic to cats, thank god, or I would have a house full of them too. They are so funny!

"I couldn't put an animal down for something that wasn't their fault" basically the powerful thing I've heard all week, I think it relates to humans too with racism and disabilities, why treat someone differently just because they were born a certain way

My brother’s story reminds me of this guy’s so much! My brother HATED cats soooo much! He couldn’t stand them and he just didn’t like them at all, but one day he was walking home from work when he saw a woman with a crate and she was asking people if they wanted 2 kittens. He asked her why and she said she couldn’t keep them, she told him she was going to abandon them on the street if no one took them. So he felt really bad for the kittens and said he’ll take them. He was planning on taking them to a shelter soon but quickly changed his mind, he got attached to those two precious goofballs and he calls them his “sons” lol.

I also give all my pets numerous names, I also like to come up with "intro songs", or "jingles" for them. When I see them, I basically turn thier name into a tiny song...

when he said he would put down the cat it made me cry my heart out i have a cat named Edward (Edward scissor paws) he was born with 4 EXTRA toes one on each foot he couldnt walk because of them it would hurt to much to stand or even move my mother suggested we take him to a vet and give him away surgery was a possibilityij but i dont come from a very wealthy family so we could not afford the operation. but i told my mother i would not let this cat go. Everyday was a struggle to keep him out of harms way, i tried to get him to walk by supporting him, i tried building him a little support walker (that didnt work out) i tried just about as much as i could, Then one weekend we had to visit our grand parents they live a few hours away we stayed for a almost a week. I was scared to get home since i thought Edward hurt himself, but when i went inside and went to check on him he wasnt where he usually lays, the first thing that went through my mind was his mother moved him (his mother is my other cat named biscuit) but i went to where biscuit hid all the kittens to find only 3 of them there, Edward was missing i looked all around for him, i almost reduced to tears since i was scared about what might have happened. then i went looking in side the bathroom and i found Edward inside the tub! but what i saw shocked me, He was walking around inside the tub. he looked like he was in pain but he was walking so i picked him up and brought him into my room and just held him for a while. Every day he started walking more and more, he started to get faster to. I never thought the day would come but its been over a year now and he is a healthy, strong, fast outdoor cat he can walk with no trouble now and his extras toes work fine he can use the claws and everything, he even jumped on my desk while writing this. i love my cats so much it tugged on my heart strings when i heard about this cat, thank you for reading possibly my longest comment ever.

God bless you for not giving up on your kitty. People really underestimate how strong and tough kitties can be. The famous saying that cats have nine lives is true. They love their independence so much that they will do whatever it takes to get it. Just like you I love cats alot. Ever since I can remember I have always had one. They really do make awful days much better.

Extra toes are common mutation on cats and usually dont really bother them. But 4 extras in each toes is crazy! Mine just had 1-2 extras per toe.

Mine is a rather long tail too some cats just find a way Gizmo only had to do one little cry with a wiggly tail & I was his. He was my best friend he helped me so much when I was injured as a teen, gave me a positive side to life.

Today, I got a cat because of this video.

Christa w. Never liked cats after I got a huge scar from this cat when I was 6 lmao it sounds bad but I literally HATE ginger cats now (that’s the type of cat that cut me a long time ago) like I literally hate even looking at them now because I think they’re evil. But gosh I will face my fear and get a ginger cat one day to see if they.. (it sounds stupid but😅) if they really are evil or not.

jazzmine I sort of owned one, it lived under our house, and it was really nice. A sweet ginger. I called her ginger as I was little and bad at naming. Not all animals are for everyone, which is ok! If you get a ginger I hope you get one of the sweet ones.

I feel him on the goofy nicknames 😂 Our cat is Siouxsie... She's also Kitten Mittens, Derr Mittens, Dirty, Mah Durrr, Orange Devil, Dirty Devil.... Jeeeez there's a million of them 😂 It just goes on and on, lmao! Scooter is so cute I can't even deal with it ❤️❤️

2 cats- Odin, who is Odies, Oh-di-oh-di-ohs, Baby Cat, Fat Butt, Candle Head, Stupid Paws (he’s a polydactyl), Mitts, and Clicks. Wesley- Wesley Butt, Fluffer Butt, Pretty Boy, Chicken, Tufty Paws, and I call both of them just Butt all the time 🤣 I think we all do it

I like to do bad accents to my cat, like "Yerr a wee ketteh!" (Scottish) and "Du bist ein kitty kat, ja? Ser gudt" (German) I also call her Schweinchen and Schmooby. Her real name is Demetria, which was the name she had when I adopted her, and I didn't change it. So she also responds to Demi. :D

That's such a cool dude! A friendship is the most important thing in this life...I'm glad I have had some great ones!
