Speargun Rigging, How to do it PROPERLY - Spearfishing basics

Спорт

If you’re chasing after big fish in remote places you need to know how to properly crimp the monofilament to the spear. In this video I demonstrate the four most common methods of rigging up a speargun - single wrap, double wrap, breakaway and a reel gun. I’ve seen many people get this wrong and it has cost them the fish of a lifetime. Don’t risk it for something that could have easily been prevented. If you want to see more spearfishing basics comment below what you want to see.

Hey Daniel, just one thing you can improve in the break away sistem. The bungee! it’s better to have a shorter one (I use Omer, short, strong and cheap). The reason for this is just to get the point where you atach your floatline as close to the triger as possible, your gun will be more stable and improve accuracy, specially if you are fishing deep and the floatline is quite vertical.
