Thanks, Joe - awesome video as always - for a Dorset spearo who used to live in Abu Dhabi, this was particularly interesting. I used to live right where you launched from, and went fishing a few times. Never entirely clear what the spearfishing legal situation was, so we stuck to rod & line. Now wish I'd managed to get out spearfishing while I was there ... oh well, to be fair I had a pretty cracking day at the Bill yesterday, can't really complain - keep those videos coming!!!

Awesome stuff dude, it looks epic over there. Glad you had a good time, the diving looks incredible and that boat 😍. That mackerel was so cool, and to have such nice restaurants to cook your catch is brilliant, I've tried asking in a few down here in Cornwall and been told no chance each time 🤦‍♂️ I'm sure there are places that will but I'm yet to find one. Will we get a video on the Norway trip? All the best and great video 😁👍

Thanks Tony! It was indeed refreshing to see the restaurants in Dubai respecting spearfishing. In time maybe here too. Norway trip perhaps although it may be tricky as I lost my gopro with a weeks worth of dive footage on the card...

It’s ridiculous the fish overlap between here in southern Qld (Australia) and that part of the world. We get the exact same species! Awesome video again

i live in dubai but trust me i would much rather go fishing in Australia since the sea here has been overfished
