Nicely done once again. My part of the world too, its where I learnt to sail and spearfish. After living in the UK for so long it's great to see people enjoying it so much over there.

Amazing again Joe.There are some big aggressive sharks in the Indian Ocean which home in on distress signals.Have rod and line fished these waters on several occasions over the years.Too many years on me now to try this but I lived in a wetsuit toting a Marin Band Gun during the 70's and 80's off the Dorset Coast with sorties to the South West regularly so appreciate what it takes to pull this off.Eyes in the back of your head 😈

Awesome trip Joe! Would love to see you come on over to Northern California sometime -- one guy got a 50kg+ class Pacific bluefin tuna on spear last week. Good on you for sharing the catch with the locals!

Joe, did you figure it out why the shot was going up? I think I know, I had the same problem on my double roller. If you are using big shark fins on your shafts, the problem is there, if you do not load the bands in the last shark fin of your spear, the band that's loaded more foward on the spear won't be a problem, but the last shark fin is probably beating on the dyneema wishbone and that pushes the spear up.

He was just not use to powerful spearguns and he was trying to compensate the shoot aiming a little bit too up like some people do with other less powerful gear.

@@marcelcabrerasalvat ok, it's fair. I just shared the problem I had with ny double roller, and the problem was in the size of the sharkfin... What was making the spear go a bit up, exactly like it was happening with Joe.
