It's such a beautiful language. I used to live in Tbilisi and am hoping to move back to Georgia as soon as I can. I miss it dearly. Hoping that one day I'll become fluent. ❤️🇬🇪

To speak Georgian like this after merely 2.5 months is amazing. Your pronunciation is very, very close - especially on the hard-to-pronounce sounds in Georgian. Your grammar is excellent. Good luck to you!

Sometimes we think that we need each and every word, but actually at the first steps in learning a new language just the most useful vocabulary is pretty enough... Great to hear that you found it useful! With time you can develop your own "filter" for leaving out the words you don't need (yet), and it's going to help you retain the important ones better :)

I’m a half Georgian living in the United States and your progression with this language is amazing! I can speak it but not fluently and the amount that you have learned in 2.5 months is astonishing. For a non Georgian your pronunciation is amazing and your grammar is very good especially inside ring how difficult the grammar in this language is.

the beginners Georgian looks interesting, I found a free pdf of it (without the audio)...thanks for the inspiration..At 2 months you have a huge gift to have been speaking like that! I can't wait for the footage from Georgia, when you make it there finally! Raoul hasn't visited either...so maybe next Autumn, we'll visit, as it's the best time to visit around wine season...Yeah, Roni is amazing! He has a lovely sense of humor. We will also be collaborating with him in the near future.

Wow, you and Roni together will make a hell of a collaboration - I'lll be looking out for that one! The Beginner's Georgian textbook is great to get into speaking relatively quickly but does lack some grammar elements that would be key to build a solid foundation.... but I guess we'll be talking about such things very soon, right? ;D გმადლობ კომენტარისთვის!

"წარმატებები" არასწორია. "წარმატება" არის სწორი. თავად "წარმატება" თავის თავში მრავლობით რიცხვსაც გულისხმობს და მხოლობითსაც. "წარმატებები" არსად, არასროდ და არაფერში არ გამოიყენება. მიეცი ადამიანს მაგალითი. :D

Remember კუდი = a tail ქუდი = a hat Differentiation between ejective consonants and their non-ejective counterparts is important, or when trying to compliment somebody's choice of headwear, you might accidentally tell them "What a nice tail you have!" :P Joking aside, you seem to have gotten the pronunciation down quite well already.

Such an inspiration you are! I love learning languages but I don’t think I’d be confident enough to just go online and speak on a video after a month or two! Clearly that lack of self-consciousness helps, judging from all the positive comments coming from native Georgian speakers.

Well done on what you've learned. I'm not a Georgian speaker but it sounds great. One extra resource which is good for most languages is Clozemaster. It trains your knowledge of sentences using a fill-in-the-blanks method. It's available for most major and medium languages and Georgian is one of them.

I totally agree about using multiple sources. Not only does it give you more material, I find I get bored quickly if I’m only using one source which degrades my motivation. Glossika also has Georgian.

Hey I saw your past video and you speak WAY BETTER now. when you come here the practice will fix your accent, don't worry about that. I think the most important is to start thinking Georgian so that you won't make grammar mistakes anymore. I would say our language is impossible to learn from books or teachers. You need to FEEL and THINK Georgian. (Actually it works with every language). ♥ And back to your speaking. You need to fix grammar a bit but pronunciation is cool. I'm impressed how easy you can pronounce letters :3 I see you practice a lot ♥ you cool. When you come to Georgia I want to meet you and listen to your Georgian in live :D ♥ ყოჩაღ,ძალიან მონდომებული ხარ! ასე გააგრძელე! (good job, you trying a lot! go on this way)
