Both of my Dysons came from skips, Dc01/Dc08, pre 2010 still going strong. Apart from filters only needed to buy brush bar belt.

A sad example of a very very nice model of vacuum cleaner Sam.only you can turn it around to make a good job of it - unlike the previous refurbishers did.its a shame as a Connie is a superb cleaner to have around and I've wanted to try another for years!

The cleaner is noice

That earth cable is touching live somewhere, also on metal encased appliances earth is necessary.

They weren't earthed from the factory. Twin core flex as standard. I think the earth was the problem but only because it shouldn't be there and my rsc is sensitive (hence the socket as otherwise my unraid server hardoff's and that does make me cry 😂

@@beko1987 Yea i guess because it is quiet old now. lol i have a server and when power cuts happen i have to piss about with it for ages afterwards haha. that rcd must be really sensitive because it made to detect power going through your body to the actual floor (earth) so i guess magnetic fields from live in the cable or motor could have done it. does it still do it when off at the cleaner?

That colour scheme dates it the early 1970s. The 3 dates of to 1973 not 1983.

The constellation ran until 83, it could be either! I dont think the blue was that early though?

@@beko1987 Yes it was that early, it replaced the 1970 Constellation with the ocean green base , my dad got my nana one from the Hoover staff shop. They took it with them when they retired to Kent from London in 1971. The last floating Constellation had the mustard colour base, I think the last ones were manufactured in 1980.

@@beko1987 Its deffo Feb 1973 Sam - they ran the same colour scheme as the Junior and Senior of the time, which were both that blue.

I have also a 1973 blue constellation. The last version were yellow here.
