Be careful there with that sentence in portuguese: Eu moro em ....... You can't use "em" for every single location, i'll give you some examples: I couldn't say: Eu moro em Canadá. {this doesn't sound right} The correct form would be: Eu moro no Canadá. Eu moro em Inglaterra. Eu moro em Estados Unidos da América. These 2 would be wrong as well You would have to say: Eu moro na Inglaterra. and Eu moro nos Estados Unidos da América. {In this case, "no" had to be in the plural form because of this country requires a plural form} I really don't know why that happens, but that's the way it is. Here it's a list that might help on this issue. em: Portugal Cuba Londres São Paulo Tóquio Dubai Dallas Houston Chicago Nova York Baltimore Miami na: Espanha China Inglaterra Irlanda Irlanda do Norte Coreia do Sul Coreia do Norte Austrália Califórnia Argentina França Cidade do México Rússia Itália Florida Alemanha no: Uruguai México Japão Havaí Texas Colorado Chile

Você não é um pronome mas sim uma contracção de duas palavras "vossa mercê" D'acordo co teu ponto de vista, espanhol e inglês são o mesmo que português porque eu entendo-os perfeitamente. Aliás, eu procuro coisas na net só nestas duas línguas porque em português aparece-me resultados em brasileiro que não entendo, enquanto que em espanhol e inglês estão sempre correctas sejam da América da Europa ou da Oceania

The same with portuguese. But i see a slightly difference. Can't Je viens de be used with a specific sense of to come from of a kitchen or room and je suis de with a specific origin of native country ? For example Je viens de la cousine and je suis de France

Hola, es muy bueno aprender 4 lenguas al mismo tiempo pero creo que es mas facil si en cada bandera en cuatro partes de la pantalla anotes frases, palabras ect en las cuatro lenguas y asi aprendemos mas facil y menos compl,icado. esos 4 idiomas son muy lindos. gracias por tu tiempo .

@@rodrigogalindo2499 Está bien...solo que si pusiera la bandera española daría la impresión que el español del libro es el español de España...igual si pusiera la de Portugual iban a pensar que es portugués europeo. Pero el español del libro es mexicano y el portugés es brasileño, entonces pongo las banderas para representar eso.

Eduin, it's because the Spanish in the book is Mexican (more than anything), and the Portuguese in the book is Brazilian. If I put the European flags, it would give the impression that the Spanish and Portuguese in the book are the European varieties.

O português tu estás referindo-se está morto. Tanto Portugal quanto Brasil modificaram o idioma e agora temos um novo português. Então pare de ser parva e tentar achar um “português certo”. Aliás, em português escreve-se VERDADEIRO e não “verdairo”, além disso a palavra português possui acento.

It's just because the Spanish I know and teach is Mexican, and the Portuguese is Brazilian...I thought it would be misleading to put a Portuguese flag when it's Brazilian Portuguese being taught...it's not a political statement or anything, just reflects the languages being taught

You would use Portugal’s flag Brazil was our colony

Não existe o idioma brasileiro! O que existe é uma variante do português que os chamam de português brasileiro. Ou por acaso, tu chamas também o inglês americano de língua americana/estadunidense, seja la o que for, também! Essa variação tem tanto no português, como no inglês, espanhol e francês. Países que colonizaram varias partes do mundo.
