Except for the middle class bit. The hood has always had it's roots in working class areas. There is a very good reason they didn't mention this. What do we do to work it out? We used to stick together and unionise. But Spanian knows nothing of this. 2gb are using him as a dupe.

Ben Fordham is without a doubt the best broadcaster in the country. He’s not afraid to go after the tough issues and he gets the opinion of all sides. To have Spanian on is testament to this for those who are new to Fordham. I watch Spanian and listen to Fordham. Great stuff Ben.

Appreciate Spanian for being himself, just keeping it real, no sugar coating, no nonsense, plenty of people, young and older, want and need to hear that. Wrapping people up in cotton wool and being a white knight might work in some cases, but for many, like myself in my troubled youth, being real is what they need to help build them up, be mentally stronger, instil drive and ambition and be able to actually see a future.

Spanian is like a rough and ready Andrews Tate, without the huge ego. I grew up on a housing estate and have seen real poverty in families. We all need to encourage and support our young people. I have the most respect for Spanian. He doesn’t support victimhood. Much love from England. ❤

Great interview Ben. It was a fair, intelligent, and thought provoking line of questions. Spanian answered them extremely well too. He is whats severely lacking these days. Honest. You can just tell the guy has a massive heart. He's also done more effective journalism than any of your pissweak bosses at channel 9. Appreciate you giving Spanian the opportunity.

It's not just crime he inspires others to overcome. I was forced to leave an abusive home at 13 put in government care. Exposed to drugs and bad people. Past 30 years I have either tried to bury my past or blamed myself even though I was just a young girl . 2 years ago Spanion helped me acknowledge who I am and what I've been through. I am so much happier not carrying it around with me now. I no longer have it hanging over my head, feeling like my life was carved out because of what was done to me.

@@TC_ReflexYT the majority of our prison's are privately run & cost the taxpayer $21 billion on inmates then another $6 billion in maintenance & construction. If there's successful intervention programs keeping both the youth & adult population out of prison's they're quietly defunded & shut down. A good example was in the NT where an intervention program ran for 15yrs having approximately 120 youth's go through the program per yr & was even endorsed by the NT judiciary because of it's success rate & only two individuals reoffending was defunded in 2021 & shut down in mid 2022. The NT government is spending 32 million upgrading the 22 bed facility in Alice Springs which will add modular cells for a total of 96 beds which are currently being built by NSW inmate's. The private prison lobby want recidivism rates to increase beyond the current 42.1% returning to prison & 51.5% returning to corrective services. Sapian has some real influence amongst those who are at a high risk of committing crime & incarceration. He can potentially influence people away from committing crime, reoffending even potentially inspiring other people to work with & prevent potential future criminal's. He's a threat to the billions in profits for the private prison contractors.
