If you make and post a spaceship made after the tips presented in this tutorial, please add #alphaspaceship hashtag so I can check it out. I'm really interested in how you approach the subject! And let me know what you want covered in the next Blender tutorial. Stay awesome!

How to generate an alpha photo? I want to download the project file but it is expired.
@StefeligaFlavius
3 жыл бұрын
@@withercreeper8465 Hi there! Now the project file must be oke to download! As for the alpha maps, import the bump map into photoshop and ad a curve effect and crank the values until you remain with clean white and black colors, then delete the black colors and save the image as PNG with transparency.

I know 3D and how Blender works, but I'm still amaze by how insane a render can be just with a simple mesh. Awesome job

This is the first time I've ever seen anyone use this alpha blending technique in over a year of learning Blender. It's so simple, lightweight, and effective. It's one of those things that is so obvious now that I know about it I can't believe it never occurred to me before.

I think you did just the right amount of taking some basics out for an intermediate tutorial. The results look phenomenal!

If you make the spaceship please let me know, I want to collect the renders of those who saw my tutorial and see how you approach the subject :)
I've only ever used this technique for simple things. Wire fences, shudders on windows, and the metal parts of canopies. Never thought to use it in such an epic way.
Thanks for showing your workflow and happy blending with blender.
Awesome way to add intricate detail in 3d models

@@StefeligaFlavius sorry! it's not your fault, it's just me who is a noob in blender and still gets lost with shortcuts and modes! ^^'
I can't tell you how frustrating and satisfying it is to see this. Here this whole time I'm thinking I'm a terrible artist and that everyone else must be some kind of genius that individually creates every single smidgen of detail in their models, only to come to realize (And recognize) how most of em are just using something like this. Thank you. I learned more in the first 4 minutes than I ever thought I needed and it's amazing.

This Work and idea is amazing and the outcome is breathtaking.
It's been about two years from now I started learning Blender, but I never actually considered using alpha channel like this, and now I regret it! It'd have been so much easier and less time consuming if had I used it. Great tutorial mate, keep on uploading!

Simply fantastic. The art style reminds me of the artwork for Levaithan Wakes but with the beautiful subtle camera motion. It's so high detail yet low poly that I find it really sucks my brain in to the scene. Can't express enough how awesome this is. I'd love to have something like this as a desktop background for wallpaper engine. Especially in the 21:9 format you've recorded this whole video in
