Yeah. I still slam solar panels onto my satellites and stations, and my save file with a battery is technically still there, I just have NO idea what the battery is. It appears to look and act like a fuel tank, but I can't paint it or anything, so... No idea. Maybe a bug (hopefully)?

I had to make a new world because of all the satellites and rovers I had that had batteries it kept crashing my game.

Now imagine actually having missions. Going to the moon on the Saturn V. Launching the Curiosity rover. And maybe, even launching SpaceX Dragon to the ISS! They could add a sky crane, a launchpad and tower that adapts to your rockets shape, and maybe the ocean. I see SFS going far, Stef, hope you see this.

That moon landing was smooth

they made the magnetic things so strong that my previously reusable rockets no longer function properly. that is the only downside I've noticed

YALL BETTER STOP COMPLAINING about where the batteries went Stef is FIXING BUGS in them He isnt god fast So calm the hell down and stop complaining If you want the batteries back so bad, why dont you try making an .apk file to add the batteries yourself? Notice how hard it is? That's why you need to be patient with Stef. Thanks for coming to my TED talk I am open for questions

Somehow I self-taught myself the new nav system by naively making a trip to the moon. Now I am pro once again!

Unlike apparently everyone else, I actually really like this update. The only problem I had with it was that my old staged rockets' engines had phased into the decoupler, making stage separation impossible, but that was an easy fix. Oh, and of course, the removal of all electric pieces, but after reading some of the comments, that appears to be a temporary thing to fix issues the electrical systems had had in the past. In the meantime, the new navigation system is great, the new designer is fantastic, and I absolutely love that I can now clean LEO by simply creating a new world (I used to just launch rockets up as missiles with the intention of colliding with satellites. I know, I know, I could have just individually 'ended' each one, but orbital missiles are so much more fun ;P). Also, there are enough new parts now (such as the lander legs shown in the video) that they should be enough to occupy us until electrics are added back into the game. So yeah, overall, I love it!

Had a craft going to mars and one going to moon when update changed now they are way off course and cant figure out the dam tranfer point thing

Developers removed the batteries in 1.5 so batteries are now gone in 1.5 but they put back Ion Engines

I hate that the ion engine was taken out. It was an easy way to get ships to far reaches of the solar system places where normal rockets would run out of fuel.

If you're using pre-1.5 save files, I did actually find the issue here: for whatever reason (maybe the engines are larger than before), the engines and decouplers seem to have merged, effectively compressing the rocket, but in such a way that neither one blurs out. I don't know what the reason is, but it's an easy fix, just grab each of your stages piece by piece and lift them one unit up. My rockets all seem to work fine, now. If you're talking about new rockets, or your staging is definitely okay, I have no idea.

Although not technically legal, APKs will work just fine for a free full version, like when 1.5 first came out, I got a 1.4.06 APK so I can still use all the versions

Just got v1.5... New rendezvous system sucks... Or am I missing something? I like the indicated transfer curve. Always wanted that. But then after your transfer burn, all you get is an "Encounter" dot. We used to get a line showing the *direction* and *distance* of the closest approach points. This allowed for fine adjustment of your trajectory until it was just right. For some reason, he took that feature away. Makes no sense.

The IOS verification process takes longer than Android’s due to their terms of service. Stef said it would be 1 - 3 days before it is released on IOS. So just be patient, it is on its way.

When I’m in Spaceflight simulator testing a rocket or launching one the game frequently freezes and I have to restart it every time does anyone perhaps know how to fix it?

Yeah, I wish it was still "Back to build" and not "Revert to build" because "Revert to build" deletes previous rockets
