I went waaay too far down this rabbit hole a long time ago. My last build before the private server was lost had the containers at the base Reducing centre of gravity for stability, using advanced rotors connected between making a free spinning centre section, with rotating drills and fully extended pistons and retracted pistons on a 180 degree connection. It was made as a walker, using really simple pistons and Rotors, with a landing gear under each one. Instead of moving as expected, the entire thing would rotate horizontally around one landing gear locked at a time, switching the locked one when aligned correctly.

Did I miss the gyros on the drill to stop shaking?

Later i simplified to an airdropped automated version. One Landing Gear, One Large Container, One Large Advanced Rotor some Pistons fully extended, 90 degree conveyor, Advanced Rotor, Conveyor Junction with a connector one side and many pistons opposite many parachutes the other sides, at the end of the pistons, 3 Drills protruding from one direction. It would fall, parachutes deploy, base rotor start so the mining arms would travel 360 degree, flattening the landing area, and could then swing further out before retracting and extending pistons for digging deeper., collecting the harvest via the connector with a cargo ship, redeployed via the same connector.

Batterys and gyros down near the wheels would help lots with weight balance. Subscribed, Watched and 👍 Liked

What are the advantages of this design, compared to a rover with grinder-welder self-assemble/disassemble loopable drill rig?

der bohrer nützt dir nichts da der rotor den du verbaut hast kein verbesserter rotor ist und somit nichts durch geht.😂
