A Southwest Airlines Boeing B737 performing flight to Austin International was landing on runway 17R when the pilots spotted a person on the runway and tried to avoid the individual.
However the left engine hit the man causing fatal injuries.
Airport Authorities claimed the man was not dressed like an airport worker and did not have any identification on him.
