3:44 One hell of a professional call by the cockpit crew to get towed back into a parking position rather than "assume" everything might be ok. No delay or costs are worth the risk of the passengers on board. The guy that got apprehended probably has to face criminal charges and major civil charges by Delta Airlines and the airport for disrupting operations and the delay caused by him. All in all: Handled very professionally by the airport and the Delta crew...

The amount of unnecessary extra work this guy caused everybody...... With the security they have around runways and taxiways these days, how the hell did a half-naked guy NOT get spotted or stopped from trotting across active runways and taxiways in order to get on the wing of DAL192? Amazing..... The aircraft was not at the gate where you might think this was possible. That guy had to cross quite a bit of runway and taxiway area just to get to DAL192. Great video. The only explanation i can come up with is that he did not come to the runway from the airport building side but maybe jumped the fence on the other side of the runways. Otherwise running across tarmac and active runways in an airport like ATL, he would have been spotted long before he got to the airplane.

Now, a few days later, she sent him a text telling him she knows about her and that she's leaving while he was banging the other woman. As soon as he saw the text, he hastily put on his underwear, no time to put on anything else, drove to the airport and - her plane had already left the gate. @florianhofer2476
6 жыл бұрын
You forget the whole thing. It is not only affecting that single aircraft, or even only those total 4 aircraft totally seen in the clip. Also the aircraft still on stands and those midair (turning off engines mid air is a nogo... ;-) )were affected. Also delays do not only affect each actual flight, but also future flights by those aircraft. This goes through the whole schedule. Depending on the operation scale (also including if night flights are allowed), those effects can still be felt a few days later. (Especially on long haul flights...) That's the problem.
@rkan2
6 жыл бұрын
I dunno the delay, but for 30 min I'd say about a hundred thousand $ or a few hundred thousand is probably close. Filling up the SW and the delays was probably max 10k$ (what a typical flight hour would cost), most likely less. Of course you can go and calculate what the indirect costs from delays could be...

I think someone with mental illness would probably not have had the sense to put their arms up and lay on the ground when they saw officers. I mean for his sake, I'm really glad he did. But yeah you're right I guess it could be both drugs and mental illness or a combination of both. Drugs don't do much positive for one's mental health.

I used to work at a major airport back in the '90's. One time a couple of college girls stole a UPS truck, stripped naked and covered themselves in Gulden's Mustard. Then they proceeded to breach security at the cargo facility and drive onto the tarmac. Eventually they were picked up by the State Police.

The pilot handled the situation like a boss ! He didn’t moved his plane for passengers safety and was very informative to the ATC and runway patrol to check for unknown objects ! 👍🏻

My entire way of thinking changed dramatically, I could imagine a passenger being drunk and stupid enough to leave the plane! But someone tries to force their way onboard from the outside. Made me a bit nervous
I love your animations.

The only explanation i can come up with is that he did not come to the runway from the airport building side but maybe jumped the fence on the other side of the runways. Otherwise running across tarmac and active runways in an airport like ATL, he would have been spotted long before he got to the airplane.

@florianhofer2476
@rkan2
Man, Delta goes all out for the in flight entertainment. They brought in a live show.
BIG XD... "...first time for us too." I guess these days you gotta look forward to such craziness happening at least more than once!

Man... what Abercrombie & Fitch will do to sell some underwear!!
3:45 WELL DONE! Aviation, continue being strict and organized.
Very wise to opt out of resuming the flight. Even if the engines were ok, what if the guy somehow clogged the pitots with his clothes? Just one, and could've ended up being another Air France 447. Thanks Vasa, all of these videos show the great levels of current professionalism from both Flight and ATC crews in a world-wide scale.
Don't do drugs.

I haven't heard from you in a while... Welcome back.
I like to say A Great thanks for the crew to Airline that protected there passengers and to all the Ground personnel to apprehend the Gentlemen
"Naked passenger, Atlanta Ground, cross runway 27L, no delay, traffic short final."
Thank you!!!!
One of my all-time favorites
The Homer Simpson "D'oh" had me dieing from laughter.
I mean on one hand, the guy endangered the safety of passengers/flight crew and disrupted operations at the airport, but on the other hand... look at him, he's having the time of his life. Part of me has to respect that.

Stupidity and recklessness do not inspire respect from me; neither does committing what I surely must be at least one federal offense, on top of the damage he could have caused which could cost lives. But hey, at least he's ruined a decent chunk of his future because he's an idiot...what an inspiration.

"we'll watch the show from here" Sounds like an AFP95 video lol!
This is something you'd usually expect from Florida!
I guess there's no ICAO standard phraseology for that.
He banging trying to get back in! Omg
He must have got Delta and Spirit confused with the "Bare Fare" Motto..... Or I guess he may have heard about "America the land of the free" and too it a little too far? Basic Economy?
Kids this what PCP does to you. You just want to get higher even it's holding on to jet wing a million miles in the sky😂😂😂😂😂
Simply epic... I can think of so many other ways to take an impromptu vacation than screwing with the FAA
Great video.☺️ Too funny.😂😂☺️
I love that the spothwest pilot just laughts😂
He wants to become a pilot? *Squawk 7500*
Amazing job as usual VASAviation, but somebody somewhere HAS to splice in the Talladega Nights clip into this ;)
Hahaha... "we'll watch the show from here". One of the pilots sounded so amused he could barely keep from laughing.
Can I just drink a beer with SW2003? He sounds like a man I can enjoy a good stout with.
