I love all styles of Southern Mantis. This man is a national treasure, and his movements are equally as beautiful to me as they are intimidating.

Impressive. For so many years I have wanted to learn this. I have trained in so many styles from Karate to Silat, but Praying Mantis would be a gift to me. Sadly, being roughly 3 hours Southeast of St. Louis offers no such instruction. Best wishes to all.

Well said Dan. That's where I'm currently at in my mind set. It's taken me years to achieve that way of thinking.

So no matter how 'adrenaline pumped' your opponent is with a good Phoenix eye strike with well conditioned hands will not only knock your opponent out but will literally break his face

This style uses iron palm and iron robe conditioning that progress as u progress so the strikes are practical as your hands and body literally become like iron but if your not prepared to train yourself properly then this isn't a style for u and and really if u aren't prepared to spend hours honing your techniques then martial arts in general probably isn't for u
