Wow, Dunkirk and Fredonia have grown. The old part of Dunkirk looks the same though. The pier is beautiful. Used to love stopping in at Aldrich's in Fredonia for a bite to eat or to get a sundae. Free chocolate milk too! I heard Mr. & Mrs. Aldrich passed away and the diner is closed now. So glad to see they did something with the old school in S. Dayton. I used to say they should make apartments out of the old Cherry Creek school but it got in too bad of shape and was torn down. I have an old school desk from the Cherry Creek school. Thanks for the memories.

Silver Creek boy here, married a Dunkirk girl. We come back to the area from Orange County NY fairly often.

I'm surprised at how much it looks like my home town area in Indiana. You think indiana is all flat but it's not down closer to the ohio/ky border
