Her several feats of superhuman abilities are unmatched, She gets hit by a car and flung off a second floor, Dying, then resurrecting herself before walking back to punch through a windshield and grab the driver. When the owner of a car she was going to tow had the gall to break her beloved sunglasses then speed away, she walks back in a rage before flipping the car with her bare hands, with the driver inside mind you. She even gets arrested in one episode by a fake police man so she breaks the handcuffs with brute strength before beating him. She is either a demi-god living among man or a demon sent to punish the evil doers of Southbeach Miami.

Fun fact: in California, state law says it doesn’t matter how far into hooking up a car the tow truck driver is, if the car’s owner comes out before they haul it away, they have to take it down and fuck off. I don’t think this applies to repossessions though, only parking violations.

There was honestly TruTV stuff I've watched in my pre-teen to teen years. Outside of Impractical Jokers, I watched reruns of Wipeout back when they were there, alongside Hack My Life, The Carbonaro Effect, Adam Ruins Everything, and many others. TruTV was honestly a big part of me growing up even though I do agree that Impractical Jokers is basically the saving grace for the network now more than ever before.

I worked very briefly in a repo office (like two months one summer before they downsized and relocated, lol) as a receptionist. It. Sucked. People came in yelling, someone threw an entire bag of garbage all over the business’ front lawn, someone came in and threatened me and we’d never spoken before. It was ridiculous.

i haven't worked in a repo office but i know people who have and grew up basically in that environment and yeah it can get crazy but it's basically just the same as working any other customer service job except if you're actually doing the repo you might get more threats LMAO the only difference is that more often than not you're working with angry people since you know... the repos haha

My state flower is the California Poppy. It is a beautiful, bright orange-gold cup shaped flower that grows in clumps, dotting the landscape in glorious waves of gold. They don't have much of a fragrance. They are about two feet tall, and I absolutely adore them. They are unfortunately being outcompeted by the invasive mustard plant. But since they are a protected species, you can do some vigilante seed dispersal to help them regain their population!

okay but parking wars and south beach tow are two of the best reality shows i’ve seen by far, south beach tow goes SO hard especially when the reality got more staged it became absolutely AMAZING so many memeable moments

As a paralegal who has lived in southwest Florida, and around Miami for the past few years I can say without a doubt that these towing/parking companies are the most criminal legally operated businesses I've seen. It's very common to get towed after paying, be charged exorbitant fees with no/hidden warnings, I've even see companies charge people for parking in a handicap zone even though they are allowed. In Miami they passed a law that allows private businesses to issue parking tickets leading to a surge of sharking lots and scams.

Andy I mean this in the nicest way but you remind me of a rat in a cage with zoomies. Just running around your enclosure yelling with the most amount of energy possible lool

My partner worked in parking enforcement for a few years in a relatively big city. Whenever he would need to call for a tow, shenanigans would ensue. Violence was a tad more rare, but it DID happen. Most of the time, it was a situation where the owner of the car would dramatically fling themselves in front of the tow truck or get inside their lifted car to prevent the truck from driving away. Oftentimes the owner would also scream at the tow truck driver and/or threaten to hurt them or get them fired. Asking an owner to pay a drop fee resulted in a lot of language and insults being hurled. It was extremely common for owners to claim that the tow truck drivers were racist. And, believe it or not, the comical timing you see in this show (owners leaving their house or the market the SAME second the tow truck driver gets their car cinched up) is actually a real thing that happened almost every time my partner called for a tow. It was strange, perfectly theatrical timing. And the owners of tow truck companies can be VERY intense. One of these company owners called my partner during a snowstorm nearly in a rage claiming that his drivers were being underutilized and that my partner was actively trying to get him to lose money. So yes, the world of working as a tow truck driver can be utterly insane, IF you work in a dung heap of a city like where we used to live.

My mom worked as the distraction caller for a tow company for a while. Two things about it I remember: Lots of very bad racist jokes Lots of insane GTA in real life stories. So yeah, it's legit, but also dramatized for the telly.

The Waratah is the state flower of New South Wales, Australia. It’s a spectacular scarlet flower growing in the bush in clumps of tall stems.

west virginia and washington have the same state flower, the rhododendron! it's also the national flower of nepal :) they grow all over the world, have more than 1,000 different types, they can be shrubs/bushes or trees, and there are evergreen AND deciduous varieties. versatile queens! WV's specific rhododendron is the rhododendron maximum, it's native to the appalachian region (from alabama to nova scotia), it's an evergreen shrub that usually grows to be 13 feet tall! very beautiful flowers but the leaves are a bit poisonous.

The NY state flower is the rose, which is disappointingly basic.. And we don't even spice it up with a state wildflower.

my state flower is a magnolia. they smell really good but they attract mad bugs in the spring😵‍💫

towing is very risky and often damages vehicles. It really should be a last resort. Wreckers/junkyards/towing companies are operating on the fringes of the law and the if this show was real theyd probably want to blur the faces and hide the actual business.

The research I've done on products available in my state, where things ARE illegal, a lot of the products seem legit, and they're derived from the main component of THC. I don't use those anymore, but I did for a while. I smoke the real deal. However, having knowledge of a product is important, so I always researched any brand before trying anything. They also sell "legal shrooms", but even with the real thing, that's not something I'd do. My anxiety would cause me to go into a bad trip and I'd be fucked forever.

Hey I've been in the towing industry for about 15 years. I used to be responsible for releasing impounded vehicles back to their owner. There were two kinds of impounds: non-secure and secure. Non-secure were things like accidents, then an insurance adjuster would come to our yardafter the registered owner released the vehicle to their insurance company. Secure were things like DUI impound, stunt driving, stolen vehicles etc. Secure releases could be just as violent as South Beach Towing makes it seem. Sometimes people would come up at 3 am with some friends, sometimes people broke in, sometimes they burned vehicles in our pound. I could go on but yes, releasing vehicles, depending on the circumstances, can be just as explosive as this show details.

Before we abandoned the death valley that is cable TV, this show was just starting to air. The salad days. I never thought I could actually get entertainment from this but you flip the script every time on these "reality" shows. Keep up the good work ❤
