A lot of tries by wingers but the very of SA Rugby is Set Phase Play and Defense. being able to stop teams from attacking past the gain line and dominating scrums is what makes South Africa Rugby Great. Most spectators and backline players do not always appreciate how much work the Forward have to do. The style drains the energy out of opposition, it hammers their stamina and that is when they counter attack.

@@Alias-gy3tz In no other sports does the best team always win. It happens less in soccer because of the low scoring and one goal makes the difference, even if it is the winning one. A single penalty is all it takes…and doing that once every 4 years definitely does not mean SA are the best.
2nd best rugby team in the world. NZ have a much better record

It's tough playing with 14 men when, on average, the AB's had 15.5. The TMO sort of ruined that for the AB's. It has been tough on the boks having to fill quotas. Up till that stage, the AB's to Boks head to head ratios were even.Its not easy and the main reason so many Saffas play for other sides. But the boks adapted, and so can the AB's so chin up butter cup , they already changed the scrum rules to give you a leg up.
