Something to note too if you have wireless built in fixtures (like the s6s as totem warmers) and a wired one like an mh150, you can run dmx out of the wireless one into the wired one.

I've been using SS since its inception. I've noticed my workflow with it is fairly different from most others. I quite literally have every that I plan on using autoscripted with some personal edits to the autoscript to make it not as stale (adding attribute cues that can toggle different features). Its tedious at first but you really only have to program once and the lights come out perfect every time. I always got bummed out when a slow energy autoloop drops with a high energy track and having all my tracks scripted guaranteed bangers.

I've yet to mess with autoloops either. I just autoscript the songs until I like it. I'll go through all the different presets and then tweak it further. I feel like the autoloops don't live up to the potential of SS and always sort of thought they actually defeat the purpose of SS....but then again, I've never messed with them much.

@@justingarret4776 don’t get me wrong, I’ve set up my auto loops to have some attributes then them so it’s just not static color changes every 4 beats. But the result is just bland. They are clutch however when it comes to say a song request that I need to stream off Tidal.

@@theGGonYT I need to get into in and figure out autoloops. Mine are still just the boring SS ones. I saw something about an update now you can autoscript auto loops now so I'll have to check that out.

Hey Rick I noticed you got some covers for the NXL24MK2. Did you get these from RCF or aftermarket? I was under the impression that RCF didn't sell them anymore. I'd like a set for my NXL24as.

I use SoundSwitch for one event a year, so I subscribe for that one month then cancel it. I use the song analysis feature. It generally does a very good job of analysing songs and creating a show. I then tweak certain parts if it missed the drop or something. The DJ software tells SoundSwitch what song is playing, and it plays the show for that song. I see Marcellus is wearing a Rode Mic. Did someone forget to turn it on?

Audio issue it comes through on a different channel. Missed it in the edit but we have a schedule to post on wednesday and it didnt seem to bad

it doesn't have a support for Rekordbox, maybe u can midi map it somehow, but it's made for Serato, Engine DJ and Virtual DJ

This is really great but "Auto Scripting" in sound switch basically eliminates the use of auto loops. You get really great shows with little effort or time.

Yes but Auto Loops take way less time to get perfect, as well as can be used in multiple types of events. I Scripted music for a rave style event and I needed to redo the Scripting for a wedding because the light scripting just wasn’t appropriate for that. After learning that, I went the route of scripting specific songs (intro for a rave, outro, if I want specific lighting for an area of the music) and keeping everything else running on auto loops. This also makes it a ton easier to include other DJs that don’t have compatible hardware/don’t own sound switch. By going into “standalone” mode and BPM matching with the control one and pretend to be a normal LJ at that point.

What do you have to do all that on a controller that such as the numark mixtream

@DMan4056 yes if you havw a numark or denon all in one you dont need a computer you can hook up the control one dorectly to the controler since the soundswitch it built into the controller

Something I would like to see is a keyboard using midi to control the lights. Think it would be cool to see someone playing a keyboard but controlling the lights instead. Each key on the keyboard triggers certain fixtures
