This is some great inspiration for my version of this siren I'm gonna replicate. I'm hoping to make a 2T22 siren and hang it up on my porch and sound it every Friday, thanks for the video, I'm gonna try my best!

Thanks for finally doing this video! 2T22A for the win....I love the wind down, the larger size, and the pitch seems to be more accurate. I felt like I was watching my local 3T22 in Davison... it sounds the same. Also happy to see my old AR timer again. :D

Hey @stormandrail96 few things should I add s damper to my sentry siren? Also can u tell me the 2nd loudest siren and 3rd loudest i already know the 1st but i dont know the 2nd and 3rd!? Also for the sentry 40v2t edaan could have made the speed a bit faster because his 3d is close to sounding like it just maybe a bit more rpm!? Love your videos

Yeah you can contact Edaan through his website & request for that type of siren.

You should mix it with a 3T22

@car8915 I don't think 500 is worth it in my opinion if you are lucky you can get a real siren (not new) for 200

Hey Matthew so I was wondering where can you find ar timer because I know they sell them at west shore services but! I live in north carolina! WHY would I drive that far away? I found one in auction around a year ago for 125$ but I waited! And it was SOLD! Like it so hard to find one these days! And it’s gonna cost more to build one my self! So I was wondering if you had any advice?

My advise is just keep looking. That’s all you can do. I had to do that for years before I found mine, and I got extremely lucky when I did find mine. A fellow siren enthusiast just got an AR timer after years of looking. Just be patient and one will become available

AR timers are very hard to come across. It took me several years in searching before I found one. West Shore Services has some that may be available. Otherwise, keep an eye out online (eBay, GovDeals, etc.).

You could ask for the “2T22A” siren (that’s basically what that is). I wish it was a 3T22 but it’s not.

It was a custom order at the time. It’s available in standard size now with that type of motor. You just need to request the 2T22A motor in the order form.

No because they’re 2t22s The 2t22 stands for 2 tones 22 horns The 3t22 stands for 3 tones 22 horns. The 3 tones are alert, attack, and hilo Just in case you didn’t know
