May I suggest adding capacitors to your sirens to make the wind-downs longer? That is what I do to all my sirens I make, and it makes them sound a lot cooler. Anyway, congrats on 2K+ Subs!

There are 2 things needed for the TPT “hack” to work. One is the radio must have FPP. Then, the radio needs to have “DVRS” enabled. My APX 7500 has FPP, but doesn’t have the DVRS feature. My XTL 2500 has the DVRS feature but not FPP.

Got it from Connor Cruz. It was a gift from him, he doesn’t sell them. In fact he’s only made 2 of those mini Chryslers.

Yeah it sure does sound similar. Due note, it sounds like a 2001 because it’s running off a voltage regulator. Otherwise it is extremely high pitched. I got mine from: lionkingsignal.com

I've never heard that PTT tone on a Harris XG100 type radio before. Is it on analog?

They both were running on Analog. The difference was whether it was running on a Simplex frequency or running off a Repeater. My XG-100p does the same thing.

Plugs in a standard wall outlet. If you had a remote that you could use to control AC power, of course that could work as well.
