I dig it too but I'm getting another head for it. I'm going to get an Attack Top Baron (red dot). I have one on one of my Pearl snares and it's great. Think it will really bring out the sound of the drum better.

Today (Thursday- the next day), Guitar Center called me back and said that it is all squared away and that I may keep the snare with no extra charges, and they apologized for the mix up! What a class act company to me....

I usually won 't pay money for a drum or cymbal i haven't heard or played first....but guitar center have a policy regarding returns, new or used, that actually is the saving grace as to why i buy shit from them still.....tips, Look in economically challenged states with guitar centers in fucked up cities (i know it sounds bad but believe me, a snare drum in flint michigan or south bend indiana,listed as in "fair, and or/poor" condition will cost 100-300 bux less than from say, hollywood or dallas texas, its true and i have a shitload of used drums that prove that, never could i afford these drum s brand new .

@@jefflyon2020 I was pretty surprised because I only buy Premier drums now and I checked the website so often for the used stuff that I’ve noticed a huge increase in the prices especially on reverb and eBay. 50 to 100% at least price difference from a few years ago.

I called Guitar Center to see what happened. What can I say, I'm an honest guy! The Assistant manager is contacting her boss to see what they should do. If they want the difference made up, I'll gladly pay it as I do not want to send this big girl back.

Todd, I was at Guitar Center today looking at that very drum over here in Summerlin Las Vegas and I was tapping on that drum thinking to myself Todd would love the 8-in as opposed to the 6-in that you spoke about. Stable throw off too! Life is funny. You certainly stand behind Guitar Center. Can't wait for the sound check video and next story. Rock on!

Holy crap, CDG, that snare is a monster. I personally think you did well by contacting the store. Hopefully they will say the error was theirs. Don’t worry about it. I am looking forward to hearing a comparison between the different sizes of snares you have.
