As epic as that would have been, keep in mind this takes place during SCI and SCII, meaning Cervantes can no longer transform into Inferno like he could in Soul Edge/Soul Blade.

E24K Lawson Actually, from what I’ve seen, the game’s new Story Mode cinematically shows the ending of Soul Edge/Blade, when Siegfried grabs the sword and becomes Nightmare. Maybe, and this is just speculation, we could play the battle between Siegfried and Inferno (using Cervantes’ corpse) for control of the sword.

The base roster has been leaked by a very accurate source and she is not in the base roster. However, they did mention in an interview that she was one of the most requested characters and that if the game sells enough they will add more DLC characters in the future. So your best shot of getting Cassandra is to support the game as much as you can.

Delirium Well this is a reboot, so they have to take his character back before his malfestation by Soul Edge. Though design-wise, I’m not too keen on his new glasses accessory. Just revamp his original SC2 costume and go with that.

Yun-Seong is the only one that's a bit iffy.

Looking back, these reveals are just confirming what is already known (how generic it was done not the roster) It would have been much better and more hype if there was: some background story shown, narration using in game dialogue other than the announcer, highlighting the beautiful stages the series is known for and character specific music should have been used instead of that mundane "reveal" soundtrack (probably the main theme)

Love how you can extend stuff now with pistol shots and Geo Da Ray

Cervantes looks sick as always and he's definitely using his guns more now. All I I'm waiting on now is Raphael trailer and I'll be complete.

Next Cassandra, Raphael, Yun-seong(or Hwang) and Amy this is all i need.

Cassandra is in the story mode but not playable. Raphael is confirmed as he was leaked alongside Cervantes, Hwang I don’t know, and Amy is likely if Raphael is in the game.

A Create-A-Soul Story Mode, Taki, Seung Mi-Na, Talim, Zasalamel, and now Cervantes? This is easily the perfect entry of the Soul Calibur series.

I love how they all have their classic moves from SC2 + more.

OH DAMN!!! Cervantes is super vicious with his blades! I’m glad that they have him use his guns more so than he previously was in previous Soul Calibur games. All is left to reveal Lizardman (Aeon Calicos) and show us how he plays. They might change a few things. This is shaping up to be the best Soul Calibur games since Soul Calibur II (At least to me)!

the reason I came up with arthur and Hilde is because all the characters who know eachother or at least have some kind of history are close together in the roster. Tira is going to be under Cervantes, Hwang is going to be botton left where Seung-mina, Kilik and others he associates with are. But the only one that Siegfried has history with is nightmare, Hilde and Arthur and there is a spot beside him

Sure but the blunt truth is that Hilde is not relevant to the story of where this game is taking place. That's why I don't really see her making it into the game, at least not the base game. She'll most likely be a DLC bonus character like Tira.
